So, it sounds like Trump Jr picked up a tragic case of amnesia before the Senate Judiciary committee. We are really to believe he did not talk about the investigation with his father?

CNN is saying 2000 pages of documents from the 2016 Trump Tower meeting with Russian officials have been released.

Oh wow. The Senate Intelligence Committee just released their findings that the Russians did in fact interfere in order to help Trump. I look forward to the attacks on that bipartisan finding.

The timing of the release of this by the Senate Judiciary Committee is suspect. I do find it hilarious that the only way to get the heat off of the pay-to-play with China was basically confirmation the Trump Campaign colluded with Russia.

One thing that stuck out in the release from Trump Jr and his faulty memory was call from Russian oligarch's son, then blocked number, then a few minutes later a call back to same said Russian Oligarch's son. The first and last calls there Trump Jr confirmed were to setup the Russian spy meeting yet he can't recall who the blocked number was.

This is all comically idiotic. Stupid Watergate is way to nice of a term to refer to this BS.

Looks like the guy who leaked Cohen's financial statements came forward. A law enforcement officer. He leaked them because he was worried when he couldn't find 2 suspicious activity reports, and was worried others would go missing.

I feel bad for the guy, he is about to be railroaded by Fox.

I never said a baby didn't die, smartass. I said the IDF wasn't firing on babies. The baby wasn't shot, the other kids likely didn't die of bullet wounds either, or you know that'd be played up in the reporting.

They were shooting at the guys right on the line.
A baby didn't simply died. They killed a baby. The Israel army continues to kill people, indiscriminately. Shooting people in the leg, crippling them for life, isn't much better either.

Trump is so corrupt, it is hard to keep up with which case is the worst. :funny:

Stormy Daniels really might be the reason he goes down...

I think the outright bribe to save a chinese company from the punishment of breaking N. Korea sanctions is the worst, at the moment.

Probably. But it seems to not be getting much traction.

You do realize the fog of war is a thing, right? They're dispersing a rowdy crowd with tear-gas canisters and skunk-water from hoses. Harmless against adults & older children. If some dumb**** shows up for the festivities, knowing there'll be tyre-fires and provocation of the actual border fence (this was announced in advance by the organizers, people participating knew), and they bring their baby in tow...

Let me ask you this: you're protesting a cop shooting in Baltimore or Missouri, it's been all over social media for days that a segment of the crowd is intending to loot & set fires & smash up cars. Likelihood is, the cops are going to show in force, and tear gas is probably going to be on the cards. You feel you need to be there to voice your outrage. Which is fine. But you're a parent of an infant: do you bring the ****ing infant along with you?

No. Because that's clearly child-abuse/endangering levels of moronic. If the cops were shooting tear-gas canisters at people smashing up store windows/cars, and you're there and your child inhales it and gets hurt or killed, that's not on the cops. Your baby wasn't the target, the adult rioters were, and you exposed your baby to the whole scene.

As for the Canuck doctor, it's sad, it's regrettable. That being said, doctors don't exactly wear uniforms, and he was probably right there trying to help people back from the line. You can see how an infantryman is going to lump him in with the belligerents, especially given all of that black smoke intentionally flying around obscuring views. You know, the stuff not lit by the IDF but by the protestors.

As for thee Stormy stuff, doubt it. I mean, take it with a grain of salt as it's coming from Giuliani, but he's just said Mueller's guys have told them they can't indict a sitting president but that recommendation of impeachment is a possibility.

Giuliani gonna Giuliani, but if that's actually true and he's not bull****ting, it's kind of significant.

We have known for quite some time that Mueller wasn't planning on challenging the current DOJ ruling that you can't indict a sitting president.

Which is a whole nother ballpark than subpoenaing him. And turning his evidence over to Congress and the public.

As for the Israeli Defense Force, I am not exactly going to trust the agency that uses this type of propaganda.

Which, FYI, is their justifying the killing of children. And frankly, a tad scary, considering the president's and attorney general's rhetoric on migrants.

All of the...stuff...in...that...tweet...

Actually...happened.

No matter how much you don't want to hear about it.

As is the unlawful murders committed by Israel forces. But you seem to have no problem with that at all. Just keep trying to make excuses for why it is okay, or deflect from them doing it.

Christ, man. "Okay" isn't a term that I'd use, it sucks that civilians were taken out in the midst of this. But this notion that they're just willfully gunning at the innocents is goddamn ridiculous.

Things don't always pan out the way intended, soldiers are faced with impossible choices all the same. You can't let them cross the border because it'd be chaos, but you're not supposed to shoot either apparently. Non-lethals have been tried over the prior hours, it's still going on, and now dozens of guys are rushing the fence.

Life. Isn't. A. College. Campus.

***** happens. It's sad, but that's different to unjustifiable. Intentionally killing non-threat civilians? Sure, absolutely, anyone should come down hard on that and hold those responsible accountable. That's just not what went down here, like at all.

Sorry, we just want to hold them to same standards as our own police. And they are using the same justification as when they shoot unarmed black men. So, no.

One of the consistent themes throughout your posting is the subtle insults against liberals. Liberals aren't the hippity-dippity, peacenik, young, flower power, drugged out, apathetic stereotype that you paint them out to be.

You keep using weird false equivalences like this. Israel's conduct is unacceptable, but black American men aren't trying to move across a border into another country and they aren't using makeshift weapons to do so. They also don't support an organization that's trying to drive a certain demographic out of the USA.

Nope, not racist at all.

"He is asked about MS-13 gang members, an international criminal gang, crossing the border.

This clip begins immediately after the question." - Chad Felix Greene

'Cept, you know, not unarmed, and attempting to cross a sovereign border in what's basically a warzone.

Yeaaahh.

A better equivalency would be "black men, who'd voted Farrakhan into official office, in possession of incendiary devices and trying to run into Canada after having called for Canadians to be wiped off the face of the planet."

Oh, Liberals aren't. At least if by that what you're getting at is "Democrat". Mainstream oldschool Dems like Schumer are actually backing the embassy move, and Bubba Clinton came close to moving it too.

Whatever the hell they're breeding out in NorCal & Oregon & Vermont these days though, "hard progressive" or whatever terminology you want to use, absolutely they are. At least on foreign issues, opposing stances that were totally mainstream and taken at face value only, what, 20 years ago, less.

Let's not confuse Bill Clintons/Al Gores for Bernie kids here, they're different. The former, policy-wise, no issues here from me. The latter have gone as insane as the Santorum tools on the right, lately.

Okay.. it's hard to take anything you say seriously with that kind of position. Discount their ideas and instead fight a stereotype if you want to... much easier I'm sure.

You know, it is telling that without context, you can't really tell whether you are talking about the Israelis or Palestinians.

Yeah, it's really easy, find me a place where the Israelis state that their official position is to wipe all Palestinians out of the ME. A lot of folks want to make it out like Israel is initiating some kind of ethnic cleanse, when in reality almost all the Palestinian deaths are as a result of them deliberately trying to engage the Israeli military by crossing borders into areas they're not authorized to get into, and if they did get in would likely begin assaulting or killing whoever they could find.

Now, should Palestinians have the sovereignty and land available to pursue their own interests, of course, and I've stated that several times. But, that's a normative and theoretical conversation because regressives like Netanyahu won't allow that to happen.

I understand it's super trendy for anyone who wants maximum progressive cred to declare Israel the greatest evil the world has ever known, but anyone with a head on their shoulders would notice the biggest issue is Netanyahu. They were much closer to solutions when Sharon, Barak, and Olmert were in charge than they've ever been with Netanyahu. If Arafat didn't try to play hardball with his people's lives they could've had almost every concession the Palestinian's wanted, but because he couldn't compromise his people are still suffering, and those deals were entered into with good faith and full support of previous Israeli administrations.

Creating a false equivalence between Israel's long term goals and that of organizations like the PLO or Hamas is really intellectually dishonest. Like I mentioned in my diatribe a while ago, Jews that settled in Israel tried as far as possible to coexist peacefully, but they grew more nationalist and militarist because they were attacked by combinations of countries around them literally since the inception of the country and had Palestinians trying to drive them away too.

Want to solve the problem? Support the move to a more centrist Israeli government that isn't the Israeli version of the GOP.
