While today’s indictments are a good sign of progress, in a warped way it validates that they have yet to actually find collusion between Cheetoh directly and the Russians. Most logical, reasonable people (not Cheetoh), agree Russia tried and successfully disrupted the last election. Any true patriot should be angry about this. But my guess is that he will take Putin’s word that he had no involvement.

Only if you don't read the indictment. It is clear in the indictment, they are working on others. Starting with the Russian side is a smart move. I think you are going to quickly see them move toward the US side.

I also definitely would not mistake not unsealing indictments YET with "they haven't found anything". And it's not like no Americans have been charged yet, and it's not like Trump's campaign manager isn't currently sitting in prison awaiting trial.

The method in which they are unraveling these indictments has been extremely precise and methodical. The timing of this, right before Trump meets with his pal Vlad, says a lot IMO.

Trump claimed he apologized to Melania for the comments on the Access Hollywood tape, then months later tried to suggest it wasn't his voice on the tape. Which, don't ask me how that makes any kind of sense.

They've specified this, which says to me that there will be others that are specific to collusion and other things

During lunch I was able to listen to a 10 minute clip of Rosenstein. I'll have to listen to it a little better later. It was pretty telling though.Russia wasn't just messing with social media. They were hacking software, leaving malware to get passwords, and tried other avenues as well. On top of that, Rosenstein said it was Russian military getting indicted. On top of that he said Gucifer 2.0 was under the GRU.

These are statements directly tying this to the Russian government. This is pretty big, IMO. This isn't affiliates, or possible connections. This is saying it was the Russian military directly, and then pointing to a famous individual in the case in Gucifer 2.0, and saying he worked for them too.

I don't expect anything out of Trump meeting with Putin about this. More than likely Trump will return saying, "Well Putin says he had nothing to do with it.", and he'll leave it at that. For the rest of us that give a damn, it's fuel as to why this investigation is important.
