The...FBI literally said it wasn't credible or substantiated. Like...6 months before this Mueller report even hit.

But yeah, you keep doin' you. Trump conspired with the FSB & liked to pay Moscow hookers to pee on him, the works. It's legit because a British guy the FBI said wasn't credible said so, and NBC ran with it irresponsibly. Awesome.

and yet a number of things have been shown to be accurate. the first one that comes to mind is Cohen being in/around Prague when the report says he was.

LOTS has been found on Russian collusion. Russian collusion is in plain sight. I don't need indictments beyond a reasonable doubt to show me that taking a meeting with Kremlin operatives in which they offered illicit material is collusion... or that changing the Republican platform (who did this again?) is pretty darn clear to be a quo in a qui-pro-quo.

Now can those things be proven beyond a reasonable doubt? Probably not. Never thought different. The hope was that Mueller was going to say in his report, "yeah... this stuff can't be proven, but it sure looks shady."

When Barr got appointed, that hope became very very slim. So, no... I'm not satisfied. Joke about that if you want. Say this proves it was a witch hunt... har de har har. But you're not going to convince me that I should ignore my own lying eyes. Trump Jr. took a meeting in which he was promised info by the Russian State. The campaign chief was being paid nothing by the campaign while he was giving polling info to the Russian State. A litany of people who had no business being there were hired by the campaign. The Republican platform was changed. And then there's Trump very guilty looking reactions to all of this... removing sanctions from a key Russian Oligarch, lambasting investigators, etc. There is more than enough circumstantial evidence to allow me to make up my mind on this issue.

The only sad part is how this will be used by disingenuous conservatives as a catch-all that no shenanigans went down. This does, most definitely, give wind to Trump's sails... and that's unfortunate... him being an American traitor and all. This honestly could be how democracy dies folks. This could be the end. Cause I'm with Bill Maher on this.... Trump is not leaving the White House, elections be darned.

During the tenures of embattled Nixon (where two Attorneys General were indicted and convicted for protecting the president) and Clinton administrations came this self-serving DoJ policy that the President can never be indicted no matter what. Which leaves the sole indicting power to the U.S. House of Representatives.

And two, you don't know what's the report. The public may never get to know it in its entirety beyond whatever the politicians are given. And the politicians may never be given anything other than Trump Attorney General Barr's summary.

Schiff claims he’ll subpoena if he doesn’t get the report.

Hell, Trump asked Russia to hack Hilary’s emails in front of a microphone and reporters.

In regards to Trump & conspiring with Russia? Err, yeah, nothing was found.

But that was always going to be the way this went. Mueller's awesome & bipartisan and above reproach, until he comes back with a "nothing to see here" in collusion, in which case **** that guy he's carrying water or whatever.

Not exactly surprising as a reaction among the usual suspects. It'll just be a "but they did get the underlings on unrelated stuff! That's still kinda shady!" and a "it doesn't matter the Steele dossier didn't amount to anything, my gut feeling still tells me it's right!" situation. Everyone gets to move on, there are no consequences over the wiretapping of those no charges were eventually brought against, bing bang boom, everyone gets to save face.

That's not even a judgement call here, as the other side totally would do the same thing if the shoe were on the other foot, everyone's an ***hole in this equation. It's just pretty entertaining/amusing seeing the purported moral high ground evaporate, as was always gonna happen. "Guilty even if he's not!", etc.

Trump literally asked Russia to hack Hillary’s emails in front of a microphone and reporters.

His son, son-in-law, and campaign manager took a meeting with representatives of a hostile foreign power offering dirt on a political opponent instead of reporting it to the FBI as would have been the proper course of action.

But keep doing you. The outcome doesn’t matter to you anymore than it does to those you belittle. Your response was always going to be the same whether Trump was vindicated or a smoking gun was found, so don’t pretend you’re above it all.

Too early to judge I guess but this is frankly already very disappointing. Not any new indictments against his son or any family member? They openly met with a hostile force and nothing in 2 yrs of detailed research could even get an indictment of any family clown?? Wtf...trump jr has indicated he expected to be indicted but nothing. This country is becoming more cringeworthy with each passing day.

Just because there's no further indictments coming from Mueller doesn't mean there aren't any from anyone else.

New York Times - As Mueller Report Lands, Prosecutorial Focus Moves to New York

Even as the special counsel, Robert S. Mueller III, submitted his confidential report to the Justice Department on Friday, federal and state prosecutors are pursuing about a dozen other investigations that largely grew out of his work, all but ensuring that a legal threat will continue to loom over the Trump presidency.

Most of the investigations focus on President Trump or his family business or a cadre of his advisers and associates, according to court records and interviews with people briefed on the investigations. They are being conducted by officials from Los Angeles to Brooklyn, with about half of them being run by the United States attorney’s office in Manhattan.

Unlike Mr. Mueller, whose mandate was largely focused on any links between the Trump campaign and the Russian government’s interference in the 2016 presidential election, the federal prosecutors in Manhattan take an expansive view of their jurisdiction. That authority has enabled them, along with F.B.I. agents, to scrutinize a broader orbit around the president, including his family business.

Yeah, that's the big thing for me. How much did Mueller pass off to other divisions?

and what exactly got handed over rather than ended...

we know there are at least two other investigations that Flynn helped with. are they still going or have they been ended as well?

oh FFS....does this guy ever learn?

I can't believe Trump has been silent on Twitter since the report was turned in.

:pal: Except Cohen's never even been to Prague, as per his testimony under oath what, a month ago, after he'd turned on Trump. Ruh roh.

I'll get around to the other stuff later.

Ended his twitter silence but so far not much (short tweets, one of which is another ‘yelling into the void’)

At first glance it might look he is in good mood, but whenever he goes all caps and goes "MAGA" you know he is in a foul mood.
The question is only, what pissed the little baby off today?

not the mueller report... the WH claims they've not seen it yet
