I feel resigned that the Senate, even some Republicans vote for conviction, won't be enough to permanently bar him from elected office. Now if Mitch votes to convict...

Glad I wasn't the only person thinking of this whenever I read it.

Those e-mails & whatever else was on those hard drives was something Trump would always fall back on in the debates with Hillary in 2016 to put her down when he was getting outsmarted or given a tough question he had to weasel his way out of.

There's no difference here, those records Trump is leaving behind are Government property & should the Biden administration feel the need to, they should have full access to them with no exceptions.

He can embarrass as a private citizen. But his actions will be meaningless since he isn’t President. If they want him to speak at the next convention to remind everyone how awful he was, go right ahead.

I will find it amusing to know the last two Republican Presidents will be cast aside by the party after being told for years not supporting them would be unpatriotic.
