Jim Jordan speaking. What an ass!

Gym Jordan lied... Not surprising.

That's why I don't watch any hearings involving the House. The guy showboats and lies his ass off EVERY SINGLE TIME he gets floor time. It makes me want to put a fist through the TV.

And it's funny that the GOP sees him as an "attack dog". If it turns out he had something to do with enabling the Capitol insurrection... he's going to pee his pants when Katie Porter gets ahold of him.

Oh wait, Tom McClintock - just as much an ass!

I'm not watching the second impeachment hearings. Just to maintain sanity so I don't have to listen to cowardly Trumplican enablers saying "we must unite and put this behind us" BS.

No, you idiots did that in December 2019 and February 2020. He hadn't learned his lesson. And now with 360K people dead from Covid, a failed insurrection on the Capitol that left five people dead -- Trump needs to be punished and disable his 2024 run.

According to CNN, Republicans are terrified of the MAGA cult coming for them both politically and violently.

Yeah, it's like the suggestion is to try and appeal to MAGA and cool down the temperature by saying, "yes, you guys are all right, it was stolen, but now that we compromised, let's move forward." That's...absurd. But they're saying to push back and say it wasn't stolen, that this is how it is, is only going to make things worse? Or to compromise and say, "listen, that insurrection was a bad thing, but if you promise never to do it again, we can move forward peacefully, right?" I just don't see how that's going to make anything better either.

And obviously punishing people and holding people accountable is going to make things worse, so really, things are going to get worse in every possible scenario other than giving Trump 4 more years. So if they're going to escalate and continue the violence either way, shouldn't we be doing the right thing according to the law? I know, that sounds insane in today's day and age.

Honestly, as others have said, this all comes down to how terrified the politicians are of MAGA actually coming after them, politically but realistically with violence as well. And that is just a disgraceful reason for our country to be bowing to being run. "Sorry, a large portion of the country has been violently radicalized, and we need to take them into account in everything we do so we don't anger them."

That's their fault. They can't have it both ways -- it's either America or Trump.

And they could've saved their Senate majority had they did their GD job in February 2020 and dumped this scumbag.

Using American Exceptionalism to prevent what is considered a no duh for Congress.

Rep. Jaime Herrera Beautler of Washington will vote to Impeach.
