That is one shot up boat. Floating zombies was a cool idea, though.

EDIT: Yes, Chris, we were very "passionate : about last week.
Hopefully they will have learned from all the complaints not to do that again, lol.

Well, different showrunner, so that should help. But, it was done before they could get the feedback from the finale.

Jack's (?) "I got you. See you soon." was creepy.

A radio friend is like an online friend. Can't trust anything they say. :(

Jack did come off suspicious. He probably had something to do with that wreckage.

Is it wrong I want everyone to die except Strand... I despise this show... Most horribly written characters I have seen on TV in awhile..

Heh, I don't understand what is so bad about this show, to outright "despise" it?

I quite like it. My issue is more with the acting than the writing. There were some scenes that came off really bad.

I've said it before..I WANT EVERYONE ON THIS SHOW TO DIE

I don't get people's hate on this show. Yeah, it's not exactly Walking Dead... but it's still decent. There are some lame characters, but also some great ones. I do think the show made a mistake in opening up with a slow burn episode... though I get why they did it. And I really wish people would stop looking at this show and judging its characters based on what you already know from the Walking Dead. Here's the thing... we know it...they don't. Give them time to catch up.

I personally enjoyed season 1 (especially the last 2 or 3 episodes) and liked what I saw last night. I'm in.

Slow burn start was a very bad idea, and sad to say last weeks WD horrible finale didn't pave the way for this show's return.

Maybe I'm just not jiving with almost anyone on the show except Daniel and Nick surprisingly has his moments. The prequel aspect of the show having people not realizing how they should be acting if they want to survive also adds to the already high level of frustration. 6 seasons of it on Walking Dead has ruined it for me, imo almost none of these people would be tolerated if they showed up in Alexandria, people would have wanted them dead by now, Chris could die off camera and it wouldn't bother me :)

Anyways i'll keep watching, hope it doesn't take them til the last 3 episodes to find it's groove.

Slow start but I still liked it. Next episode looks like it'll be cool if Jack catches up to them. God, Alicia was an idiot for talking to this guy, though.

The Madison/Travis scene was kinda weird, what with Madison wanting to save those boat people and Travis being like, "**** 'em." That was the opposite of how they were last season.

I tried to watch last night's episode. I didn't even finish the first season. This show just can't keep my attention. Not even a propeller to the face zombie death could make me sit through the entire episode.

Also ... There's a Talking Dead for this series, too? Seriously? lol.

It doesn't have my undivided attention either. After the first ten minutes, I got some work done on the computer while keeping it on in the background. It's not even a matter of needing to be more exciting either, because there are a bunch of slow episodes of TWD that I've made it through. With Fear The Walking Dead, the characters just aren't compelling enough. I'll still keep up with it because of the brand name, but for me the best part of last night's episode was the preview of Preacher during one of the commercial breaks. :o

Kind of disappointed they killed off Lexa for Alycia to show up on this show when it's so far been subpar. We had a few zombies at the start and a few at the end where they were floating around but almost nothing in between but a lot of fruitless character building/agonizing.

Was starting to think it would be another zombie light episode until they came up on that wreckage. I don't think the zombies were swimming but they were floating which seemed odd but I can give them a pass since it's zombies.

This might be another pass after the abysmal slow burn of the first season. I decided to give season two a chance after the IMO better webisodes that were aired. The whole thing combined only had a single zombie but it did it much more suspensefully and interesting than anything TWD or FTWD has done so far.

If by episode two or three it doesn't pick up the pace more then I'll be dropping this series along with TWD.

As soon as I started reading/watching "The Walking Dead" I thought, "If this really happened I would get (somehow) a yacht and go out to sea", so my interest level so far is based solely on watching that survival plan play out.

Not sure if this is a good place to ask this but it seems to be connected..

Those shorts that would play during the Walking Dead.. about the Asian girl on the Airplane.

Anyone know if that's just a stand alone thing or will this join up with FTWD at some point.

To be honest I was way more interested in her story on the plane.

Who are the great ones. Travis and random blonde lead, suck. The kid is annoying. Stoner Johnny Depp has his moments I guess, the radio lovin chick is ok I guess, and Strand is pretty good, but I don't see any great characters.

That was a stupid thing Alicia was doing. Travis, Maddy, Old Man should have been on radio duty not some kid. Now creepy ass "I'll see you soon" Jack and company are coming. Seriously, none of the adults except Strand were doing anything useful while Alicia was ****ing things up.

As for the people they didn't save. Good call by Strand and Travis. There were way too many people on that raft. They could have been infected or simply hijack the yatch and throw the original crew off it. Also, I don't remember them trying to save their neighbors last season when they left and didn't bother to close the gate behind them. So get off your damn high horses, Maddy and Alicia. At least Johnny Depp gets it somewhat.

The Asian woman is supposedly joining FTWD at some point later in the season, I heard.

I don't know it is her specifically but we are told one of the passengers is going to be a survivor from the plane crash and join the FTWD group this season.

For anyone that actually made it to Talking Dead for this one, did anyone catch Hardwick saying "You guys were very...passionate regarding last weeks finale." or something like that? I laughed, since I heard Hardwick's twitter got blown up with people angry over the cliffhanger.

Even though I know it's not, I was so hoping that it was Negan that shot up that boat!
