Not. At. All! Geez! You'd think they would at least get a grip and try to listen to a degree to the fans. I'm watching this show now just to watch it. The characters are not likable at all.

And there lies the biggest problem with the show. There's no one that is rootable or get behind when none of the characters are that likeable.

I find Strand, Daniel and potentially Alex to be likable characters.

Strand is supposed to be their mysterious character with an unknown agenda. But you know he's just another Daryl albeit without the skills he has but the gruff exterior personality hiding the good man inside.

Daniel is kind of like Rick in that he has the will to do what is necessary even if it is distasteful but unlike Rick he seems to have arrived at that conclusion quicker.

Alex seems like she has the potential to be a mix of Glenn and Carol. She isn't weak like Carol started out but she seems more capable of catching on and keeping alive. She has gotten out of a few nasty situations already and will get out of the life raft too somehow.

The rest are some uninteresting zombie bait or just waiting for a human slightly more intelligent than a zombie to kill them. None of them are prepared even after everything they have witnessed to take further steps to protect themselves.

Idealism is important but none of them have any ideas, just random stupid acts to propel a flimsy plot forward. Super Junkie Nick has at the moment shown the most potential to improve on his status but I still find that his super junkie powers are what fuel him too comical. Hopefully that will grow old soon enough.

Lol, I must be the only person on this board who enjoy the cast. This episode was really good, too. My favorite part was when Madison stabbed the short-haired kid. He'd annoyed me so much in the previous scene when he was kicking back, drinking alcohol, and opining about Connor being smart but too soft or whatever.

I didn't really understand why Nick had to fetch Luis. Why would they need help getting into Mexico? Is the Mexican government still standing?

Too bad there are only three episodes to go until the midseason break.

I don't know if it was specifically the Mexican Government, but it was discussed in Talking Dead that the helicopter and the boats/ships Nick had to evade in the beginning of the episode is the "flotilla" that the Abigail has to have license to pass through to get to Baja.

That's where Luis comes in, since he holds the key to passage, although he said he only had passage for two (Luis and Strand).

Is it a mid season break? I could have sworn it the end of the whole season itself......

No, I enjoy the cast and the show overall. I still prefer TWD, but this is still enjoyable.

IMDB says 15 episodes will air this year, so episode 7 ought to be the midseason finale.

It was kind of a subversive twist to reveal Strand's motives might actually not be as shady as we all thought they were.

"I know you're not running on my deck" has to be one of the funniest lines I've heard all week. Strand is awesome.

Smart move, threatening Daniel's daughter.

Now I want steak, lol. :p

God damnit Chris.

EDIT: And of course he even screws that up.

this show will be so much better with out Chris
Every group needs their screw up and in a group full of screw ups you need the one guy who can monumentally **** it all up. That **** up is Chris.

Luckily for them the other people in this world aren't much brighter than the zombies or they might have realized something fishy about the exchange.

Alex might turn out to be their Daryl afterall. She's got to be lining up with them eventually although she is entirely right to not trust a single other human at this point.

So, Chris was just lying when he said Reid was turning? Because the dude appears to have died as a result of Chris's shot, not before it.

Also, I didn't quite get why Alex wanted Travis. What was she planning on doing with him?

After killing the guy withhis spinal cord coming out his back. Kris just isn't taking any chances I guess. Dumbass is probably bloodlust. Daniel ****ed up by letting him with Reed or whatever. Could at least have taken the gun with him.

Great, now Daniel is hearing ****. Hope he isn't infected. Just tired or something.

Good to see Alex.... sort of. Don't like that she turn on them but I understand why. She should be pissed at Strand.

Yes and no. I think he would eventually succumb to the injury but I don't think he was going to die that soon either. He just wanted to kill the guy after all the stuff he was saying angered Chris.
