So she-hulk is a over? Great. Whatever.

I'm so getting Model, inc. (Yes, I'm serious, It has Mary Jane in it.)

I'm as interested in Mindwipe Madness MJ as I am in Rockin' Sockin' Single Peter Parker with bonus Devil-Dealin' Action.

I may still end up picking it up for Patsy Walker, though.

More thoughts, having read FULL solicts and having time now:

- The SECRET WARRIORS getting a title? Hmm...Bendis leaves MIGHTY AVENGERS, but launches a new team book. Fair trade. Aside for Fury and Ares' kid, they're all original characters for him to mutilate. I won't be aboard this time. I am starting to think even my Bendis bashing needs a limit.

- Curious if Storm is taking over for Black Panther for an arc.

- The launch of AGENTS OF ATLAS #1 by Jeff Parker is a solid thing, although I am curious about what sales expectations are. The last mini sold about 2 years ago and quickly sank from the Top 100 like a stone. The team popped up in SECRET INVASION: WHO DO YOU TRUST #1 and one of the SPIDER-MAN FAMILY anthologies to keep the team alive (even as Namora was running around in INCREDIBLE HERCULES). The Art Adams cover kicks butt and I can't wait to see what Parker does as his team. This was the one title from Parker (who often does a lot of thankless work like X-MEN FIRST CLASS) that I wanted back, and here it is. Sweet. A shame Leonard Kirk isn't along for the ride this time, but he's doing CAPTAIN BRITAIN & MI-13, so it's a worthy quest.

- Bendis to Ultimate Spider-Man may be like Claremont on X-Men stuff; launched it into greatness, clearly ran out of ideas, refuses to leave. Awesome.

- It is not surprising that the only book to survive the Ultimate purge is ULTIMATE SPIDER-MAN, which is the only one that has sales holding steady within the Top 25-30 (about 54k or so). Granted, Marvel has had alternate realities before (NEW UNIVERSE, 2099) that were once hot and then simply ran their courses, and rather than bite the bullet and end them, they created a massive tragedy (in this case ULTIMATUM), killed some people, and condensed the universe to one book. Both times this merely delayed the inevitable. Will Ultimate be a three-peat? Yes. Soon as Bendis leaves the book, or dies of old age at 97, someone else will come on and sales will fall.

- ETERNALS #7 guest stars Wolverine; can you tell sales are slipping?

- What is the point to MODELS, INC.? If the price of random, under promoted and ultimately underselling mini's has to move to $4 an issue, don't bother.

- I love how Marvel makes light that every SHE-HULK volume gets canceled. Hey, 38 issues (post relaunch) is a pretty good run these days.

- Curious how WAR OF KINGS will play out in GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY

So if the Ult covers mean anything it looks as if Beast and Human Torch survive the Tsunami.

so if Ultimate Wolverine vs. Hulk 3 is an amazing issue, then it shouldn't be purchased because of delays? or because of some principled stance of artistic integrity?

Defenders and Offenders - nice to have match ups like that. But I'm curious about the full face mask Doc Strange (notice 'Doc' Strange in the solicits, not Doctor or Dr). Is this Stephen adopting a more traditional hero role with restricted powers, or the replacement for Stephen (as I read somewhere recently that he's failed in his duty as Sorceror Supreme so has had the title taken from him). It would seem reasonably easy to limit his power and get rid of his Deus ex mahchina nature by having all the lega powerful beings he invokes refuse to hear him thereby leaving him with only surrounding magical energies to use for his spells and whatnot

Strange had a secret identity for a while as Dr. Stephen Sanders. In order to have a secret identity, he needed to hide his identity while being the Sorcerer Supreme, hence the mask.

Ditto. I'm not jonesing to see MJ date random nobodies due to Faustian magic anymore than I am to see Peter do so. Only, I don't give a s*** about Patsy Walker either, so I'm probably not going to pick it up at all.

So glad I started picking up She-Hulk after the SI/X-Factor crossover...only to have it canceled a few months later. Awesome

That's God kicking you in the crotch as penance for enjoying Hulk. It's probably your fault She-Hulk's even getting canceled. :o

Eh, I won't miss it too much. I was just starting to enjoy it then the plug gets pulled. Hope PAD gets on another book in its place.

Yeah, that book hasn't been it's old awesome self lately. Things were good up until that Arcade arc.

I think it had too many changes too quickly. Now that things have settled down a bit, it might be good if not for Strohman's art.

Can't fault them for publishing it if they already had to pay the creators for their work. But it's sad that consumers will still buy it, and probably in pretty significant numbers. They're just going to tell Marvel that years-long delays are perfectly acceptable and encourage them to continue with that sort of behavior.
I want to read the rest of the story because it's a good one with good art. I don't see how this is a big deal. It's not like Marvel is going to say, "Okay, now it doesn't matter if all of our titles are years late." This lateness is due to special circumstances and it doesn't benefit Marvel to have too many late titles because that would hurt how many comics they sold each month.

It's only due to the "special circumstances" of the creators involved being unprofessional f***s who think so little of the medium they claim to love that they prioritize it at the absolute bottom of their list and only do any work for it when they feel like it. It's unacceptable by the standards of literally any other business where work is expected to get done on a regular schedule, yet everyone--both the people producing the comics and many of the consumers--just shrug and say "whatever" about it.

The priorities are where the most money is when you do anything professionally. Musicians know this, visual artists know this, writers know this. It's easy to say "how unprofessional" but at the end of the day the guy's paying the bills and are you really going to get all bent out of shape about that.

And the reason that people like me shrug and say, "whatever" is because in this particular case it isn't even a big deal. At least they're finishing it. I bought the first two issues and now I look forward to finishing the story because it was good. It's just a comic -- a mini at that. And I know you hate the Ultimate U, Corp! You didn't even buy that ****!

But on a separate note, Loeb is bringing back the Defenders so they can face off against a new bad guy team, the "Offenders."
Guess what Emmy nominated, Eisner Award winning Jeph Loeb and superstar fan fave Ed McGuinness have for you THIS month?! There was a time when the world's mightiest heroes got together to fight foes too great for them to handle all by themselves. No! Not the Avengers! The other guys: HULK! NAMOR! SILVER SURFER! DOC STRANGE! The original Defenders are back! But what terrible threat could bring them together again? How about THE OFFENDERS! RULK! TIGER SHARK! TERRAX! BARON MORDO! If you have to buy ONE comic this month -- be sure to by TWO copies of Hulk!

Eh, I won't miss it too much. I was just starting to enjoy it then the plug gets pulled. Hope PAD gets on another book in its place.

As long as nobody lets him do another stupid ****ing road trip.
