🇺🇸 Fell Out of a Coconut Tree, It's Kamalot: The Kamala Harris Thread

US News
He does not have to. He's already running with, "she's an illegitimate" candidate and he doesn't have contracts with her.

Well, he has to debate the nominee. Who that will be is an open question.
I don't think so. With the amount of people endorsing her and the contributions generated in the last 12 hours, Harris will be the nominee. It's a foregone conclusion.

Nah, most everyone is falling in line, even the donors. Its done.
It hasn't even been a full day since Biden dropped out. It's all over; including the shouting, but I DO want to see her birth certificate.

There is a reason why Biden finally started floating about Supreme Court reform when he was desperate the last couple weeks. Progressive policies are actually popular with average Americans. The problem is the big corporate donors don't love them. They don't want to pay the totally reasonable corporate tax and income tax rates necessary to fund civilized social programs.

So as of now it's Kamala Harris and possibly Joe Manchin.

You know the fossil fuel industry and Never Trump Republicans are going to try and boost Manchin.

Is Sorkin still pulling for his Central Casting President Mitt Romney.

I do worry what kind of **** Republican legislatures are going to try and pull. But, I'm thinking the GOP may feel the monkey paw of the Trump ballot cases. At least for the lower courts for now.

I do worry what kind of **** Republican legislatures are going to try and pull.

I don’t since:

Other politicians have expressed about as much so have reporters, people online, etc -

Thus it’s a definite Biden and co have been over it. It isn’t something they overlooked.

If the Republicans stood any legitimate chance to block changing the candidate, chances are Biden wouldn’t have dropped out.

It wasn’t a last minute decision. The public hearing about it, yes. Within White House walls, it’s very unlikely that it was spur of the moment.

I may be blindsided and it was last minute, no discussions about what Republicans might do and breaking down how to respond and overcome, but I don’t think that’s the case.
