Apparently this was before Biden announced he would drop.

Like i said though, Newsome endorsed Harris yesterday so not sure why he would suddenly say he wants to be president after endorsing the candidate Biden endorsed, Newsom has always struck me as a party line guy, and doubt he would set it on fire just to see if he has a shot, plus Harris is the only candidate that already has the infrustructure in place on day one to start her campaign, everyone else would have to start from scratch and again that would be suicide for the party.

My money is on Roy Cooper or Mark Kelly.

Mark Kelly is getting some love along with Shapiro and Pete. I'm going to have to point out Pete was a failed mayor to a college town who couldn't win a higher office in Indiana and tried to fail upwards by running for POTUS and pulling a gay Obama outsider campaign. There are legitimate reasons why he shouldn't be VP other than his sexual orientation.

Its interesting some new reports are coming out that some in the christian church as seeing the narrative that evangelicals are pushing that god saved Trump, they are seeing revelations and now thinking Trump in their religion is the anti-christ, again this the christians doing this

I've already seen comments about if Harris wins what monstrosity will come out of the MAGA cesspool in retaliation. Trump was a product of Obama winning the presidency and now we may get something else or worse.

That's why I'm kinda skeptical as the Trumpettes have failed to gain any traction. Kari Lake, Ron DeSantis, Marjorie Taylor-Green, Lauren Boebert, and Matt Gaetz don't have the cult of personality, so hopefully it's just Trump himself that MAGA love which means only Trump.

The guy who runs project 2025 said over the weekend, the election isnt over till he puts his hand on the bible and takes the oath, so they are preparing for a long post November 5th if Trump loses

He endorsed Harris and when asked whether he would consider being VP, he said “I love my job, but if my phone rang, I’d listen.” But he said “at the end of the day, I just want a president that you can feel comfortable with your kids sitting down in front of the tv and listening to, without fear of them having hatred spewed at them.”

Love it.

It's funny watching trumpers say Kamala has no chance. Just remember, the average American would say "anybody but these two". Well now we have a 59 year old POC woman as that anybody against an 80 year old wannabe dictator. They have a right to be scared and I don't believe any of these BS early polls. Sure, we may underestimate how much part of the country loves trump, but do not underestimate how much of this country hates him too.

They are the loudest online which makes them seem like the majority.

After (hopefully) a Harris victory Biden should step down and allow her to take over early. If she's already in the seat it would be that much more difficult for our corrupt Supreme Court to install their guy as was done in 2000.

I do worry what kind of **** Republican legislatures are going to try and pull. But, I'm thinking the GOP may feel the monkey paw of the Trump ballot cases. At least for the lower courts for now.

One of the main reasons I don't worry too, too much about it is that Biden and her are already in the WH and, if she wins, they would have to remove them. If the house were to refuse to certify the election, it essentially still puts her in power. I feel pretty sure there will be a Dem controlled house and, eventually this will get sorted out; even if it gets a bit messy.

Yup. And call me too optimistic, but I'm more confident that she can win this than I was Biden winning in 2020. And he still won! All of the reasons why people wouldn't want Kamala as president are miniscule in comparison to all the bad things a second Trump term would bring to the table.
