What do you think are some of the most perverted lines in the movies.

I think it's at the end of TWINE when Bond says "I thought Christmas only comes once a year."

Yeah, that's so obvious and cheap. Connery and Moore had some really clever lines, genuine wit.

Most of the stuff in Die Anothe Day is also tawdry, easy innuendo. Like the closing scene, "Take it out," "Can't you leave it in a while longer," - did 14 year olds write that scene?

Die Another Day is an abomination

the cunning linguist in goldeneye was probably the best.

although the christmas coming one was so bad, you could tell her whole character's name was based on that one cringing joke. and it was in poor taste and really just lowers the tone.

"Hi I'm Plenty."

"But of course you are."

That was indeed childish humour. But DAD was filled with it. And it had a childish villain too.

I always get a chuckle in DAF when Connery says, "You've caught me with more than just my hands up"

The way Connery pronounces ***** Galore's name is so gloriously filthy.

"Poosy" lol.

Connery rules.

This doesn't really fit in well with the whole perverted lines theme, but I have to give props to a certain exchange between Bond and Mr.Big in Live and Let Die.

When Bond has introduced himself to Solitaire and Mr.Big walks out and he goes "Is this the stupid mother who followed you?" and Moore replies, "there seems to be a mistake, my name is....." and Mr. Big goes "Names is for tombstones baby!"

Best reply ever by a villain, absolutely loved it...

diamonds are forever

bond"well i never was one for red heads, but somehow it suits you"
tiffany"it should do it's my own"
bond"well so long as the collars and cuffs match"
:D:D:D

well i've always liked the Christmas line mentioned above, but my favorite, i think, was from A View to a Kill... when Bond is taken to Zorin's office, Zorin asks him if he slept well, and Bond replied, "A bit restless, but I...got off eventually"...

cracks me up every time! :)

PG: 'My name is ***** Galore'

Bond: 'I must be dreaming...'
for some reason, that exchange always seems to be popular, but i never really cared for it... never saw anything really special about it...

*shrug*

The cunning linguist pit is from Tomorrow Never Dies

anyways:
Xenia Onatopp: You don't need the gun.
James Bond: Well, that depends on your definition of safe sex.

Once again, not fully quoted. Bond then adds "Named after your father, no doubt" I believe.

From TMWTGG:

M (over the phone): Where is Goodnight?

Bond: She's coming.

Bond: Your name is Stephanie Broadchester--
Vesper: It is not!
Bond: You're going to have to trust me on this.

And the exchange in the train was excellent, as well.

I know that mentioning DAD around here is a bit of a minefield, but here it is:

Madonna: You handle your weapon well.
Bond: Well, I have been know to keep my tip up.

Filthy, filthy stuff.

Back in those days, you could only get away with so much and the name ***** galore completely pushed the boat out to the open sea. Bond always made sexual references but having a beautiful woman introduce herself as that name after being knocked out was almost too much for Bond to handle, he was left almost speechless.

***** Galore was so ugly. He had to be dremaing because someone that ugly wouldn't be named that.

Anyways, the most dirty line is from DAD. "I don't like cock fights"- madonna. What the hell was her purpose in the film? She was just some random girl that popped out of nowhere.

DAD was the most action packed, but it was too fake and cheezy. Casino Royale beats all Bond movies. IT is more realistic, action packed, etc.

Honour Blackman wasn't the hottest but ugly she was not.

yes, i understand the meaning... i just don't see why that exchange is so popular because there's nothing particularly special about Connery's response to hearing her name...

Whats not to get? A blatant name like that being used so trivially in a pg movie was something that just never happened back in those days....Connery's response was to also reflect that of the audience.
