James Bond vs. Jason Bourne

Which one do you think is better? I honestly liked all the movies from both, and Daniel Craig's Casino Royale was awesome. I also can't wait for the Bourne Ultimatum in August. So when it comes down to it, which one do you think is better?

Honestly, I love the Bourne books and it was cool to see them down on the big screen, but James Bond is my favorite. Both Bond and Bourne are appealing, but Bond is a character I grew up with.

What about you guys?

i'm saying other than both being in action movies they have almost nothing in common.
so i can't put one over another because they are barley in the same genre.

I seriously can not believe anyone voted Bourne.... a new franchise that I think is nearing its finale vs. a film franchise that's been around since my grandfather was a young adult! Not even a contest. Bond is the best and Bond has the longevity to span GENERATIONS.

Bourne. He at least looks like he could suddenly be behind you after he snuck in under an assumed identity.

Bond just blows s**t up and hopes that whatever it was, it was the bad guy.

Although they both are very good movie franchises.

Actually, Damon said that after he's done with the third, that maybe the Bourne films can continue with maybe a different actor playing the role like in the Bond films.

I doubt it, and hope that it doesn't go the Bond route.
These films seemed to work as a trilogy that had a point/story. To have another film after this that isn't about him finding his identity/recovering from his amnesia would seem like milking for some extra coin, IMO.

I think the Bourne series ending with three films is the best way to go aswell. I was just saying what Damon said about the future of the series.

But seeing as Bourne has only gotten started in recent years, we can't say that Bourne won't stand the test of time. And, Bond may have been around for longer, but that's certainly nothing to base an argument on.
