Horror Final Destination Reboot | WB/New Line

I wouldn't mind too much if she became the new Bludworth

In less than a week, it outgrossed all the previous film domestically.

If there's a new one, I would like the opening sequence to be in a yacht or a cruise ship kinda like the Titanic.

1- Airplane
2- Road
3- Rollercoaster
T- Track race
5- Bridge
B- Sky tower

I'll say this, before Final Destination : Bloodlines, I hadn't been interested in seeing the other films.

I saw the first one a year or so ago, for the first time.

But when the original films were released in the 00s , I pretty much had zero desire to check them out.

Then again, I was in my 20s ,and into a bunch of other genres and things , and not so much horror at that point.

But after seeing this most recent film , I've started going back to watching the other ones , and I finished 2 and 3 already.

I thought it was pretty good overall.

My favorite sequences were the stuff set in the late 60s, early 70s, with Brec Bassinger .

If anything, I would have loved for the whole film to be about her during that period .

Brec Bassinger is one of the most adorable actresses out there , and she'll always be Stargirl to me.

Hopefully the franchise will explore telling more retro stories taking place in different eras such as the 1970s, 1980s, 1940s , etc.

Once the film played Bad Moon Rising by CCR and Shout by The Isley Brothers, the film pretty much had me.
Sounds like you felt about Brecc in this film the same way that I felt about, Rebecca Ferguson as Ilsa Faust in, Mission Impossible Rogue Nation. RN was, ALMOST Rebecca’s movie.

You should watch all six films for the complete dejavu experience!

Is it better than the more recent ones?

I mean, the last one, 5, was one of the better movies in the franchise. And that was over a decade ago. But yes, Bloodlines is one of the better Final Destination movies.

Just avoid THE Final Destination. It’s like if someone made a bad spoof of the franchise. The acting, writing, visuals, gore are all horrible.

Too late , I just saw it for the first time

The acting was particularly bad , especially coming off watching Mary Elizabeth Winstead in part 3.

Devon Sawa and Ali Larter were also pretty good young actors in the original, and the second film also had some good younger actors, even if the film wasn't as strong as the first.

Part 4 certainly isn't even in the same league or conversation as Bloodlines on any front.

Ow well , here's an oldie from a film that's nearly 20 years old now , which is nuts to imagine.

Part 3 has that mid-00's goodness that is very nostalgic for me. MEW was acting her backside off in it.
Watched this for the first time Halloween 2023 and can confirm, she’s fantastic in it. Her breakdown after her first vision and wanting off the rollercoaster is so uncomfortably real. One of the more compelling and sympathetic protagonists in the entire series.
Is that the one with the tanning bed death?
No, I think that's 3.
One of my favorite deaths in the entire series. Also one of my favorite edits cutting from the tanning beds to the coffins. :funny:
