Superman Returns Finally watched this movie

So I finally got the movie and all I can say is what the ****?!

Superman travels off to space for 5 years and suddenly forgets all about privacy?

Superman? How about Stalkerman? Since when did he start listening into people's private conversations? And pining for Lois. how pathetic!!

you'd think in this day and age they can afford to do something a little more epic than throwing a huge chunk of rock into space. They should have put some real monsters or something. This movie was a real yawner. I fell asleep a few times even.

Good to see after years in prison Luthor's still up to the same old real estate scam.

UGh. They should have taken the $100m it took to make this movie and just gave it to some charity. Would have been money better spent than in this pos.

I like the movie more then most people. I do agree about the stalking part.. that was uncalled for. they even addressed that problem in smallville in a much better way.

It makes sense for Superman to listen in on conversations. He is a lonely guy.

His loneliness is pushed more so by Singer. I always felt Superman was comfortable with himself, that he didn't have neglect issues. I always felt he recieved enough love from Martha, Jonathan and he got all the answers he was looking for from Jor-El. That his issues about being an orphan was a resolved one.

Superman Returns marks the return of Superman. Everything has to be adressed. Watch it again and instead of *****ing about it , pay attention to whats happening onscreen instead of playing with your toe.

yeah but the idea was that he was at a cross roads in his life where he truly was starting to feel lonely and realizing that people will move on with or without him. I mean on one hand yes he's Superman but on the other hand he was raised just like any other person and every once in a while that fact shows itself

I was comparing it to other Superhero movies, apart from maybe X:3 and the Hulk, since I have been here I have not seen this many people on SHH who did not like a movie. Just look at the SR forum, it has LARGE amount of people who just do not like it. I did not see this happen with the Spiderman movies nor Batman Begins.
