As far as I understand it, Lobo's 'mustache' is the same deal as the areas around his eyes. Hence why it has been painted on in the Paramilitary Xmas Special.

i always thought it was a hair mustache, im not extremely familiar with lobo, but saw hi on tv, so thast the extant of my knowledge, i always thought it was like hulk hogans stache

I had that feeling too from the animated version i seen of the character, so i wouldnt mind if they take it like that for the film if it gets off the ground and rolling.

Haha! That was awesome! This movie should be awesome, even if it's PG-13. Hell, Lobo was awesome in the DCAU shows & those were G-Rated shows.

Yeah I think the moustache is part of his facial markings, it doesn't really look like hair on the cover I have with him on it.

The facial fuzz and the facial markings are quite distinct. Thinking about it, I think they should re-do the image with the actor in make-up and use it as the movie poster.

It's certainly get attention.

I really can't wait to hear who they cast as Lobo, it's gonna be an interesting choice. I know or a fact half of s are going to be disappointed while the other half is gonna be super excited.

that is how it usually ends up. Its hard to ever find that just right person. Hopefully its an interesting choice for lobo. It will be odd if things end up falling through for lobo or even deadman. Cause that seems to be the case half the time any dc guys are mentioned to be happening.

Well considering the character of Lobo and the way we've seen him portrayed in animation, it's gonna be a really interesting choice.

Hopefully it is a huge dude to have that hugeness to the character. Like a ron pearlman size guy or an undertaker guy. Since lobo doesnt really need to be a strong acting type of character i wouldnt be surprised if they end up looking for a more stunt actor guy then actor's actor guy.

this is possibly the one exception where i could actually see the voice actor from the cartoons playing the character in live action and pulling it off. Brad Garett has a sweet voice and is a beast in real life

I think he would. But he is doing Sons of Anarchy, Bubba Nosferatu and The Hobbit "at the moment", so I don't know would Lobo fit his schedule.

am interested to see how guy ritchie is goin to treat this character. i'm a fan of snatch and lock, stock and rocknrolla but i dunno how he'll go with this. i'm also a bit bummed that they aiming for a PG rating. this needs to be VIIIIIOOLLENT!!!!!!

I saw someone say Brad Garret as the voice actor for the animated version was great. I agree. I do think this is a case where they should go with it. Instead of going for a big name actor or someone who is known for action they should look at someone who can flesh out the role. I can see Garret do this. He is huge and given a little time I can see him bulking up. Though I think Lobo should look a little out of shape though to make how bad ass he really is a shock.

You're a Lobo fan, and you think this alien psychopath should be played as a slightly angry human? Something akin to "The Rock", no less?

I think they all need to go watch that episode of the JLA that featured Lobo.

Lobo is basically a pychopathic idiot. He doesn't spout off one-liners.. he IS a walking one-liner.

Any movie about Lobo would have to show that he is A) Violent B) Extremely Narcissistic with a ridiculously high opinion of himself C) incapable of recognizing the worth of any other being other than as a target or a means to an end D) Smellly, Hairy, and Foul-mouthed.

Lobo should be a funny, violent film where the main character is kind of an overly-muscled boob.
