My favorite seems to change with different episodes. I can't say who it is now. I have been impressed with the development of several.Honestly, Rhino became my favorite villain of this show.
Let's see if Venom can get the first place, again.
PM Me.Okay, in contrast with what I said in an earlier post, I'm quite pleased with Sandman after watching this episode (carnage899 gave me a link to a torrent tracker with the bulgarian episodes). He had a nice development in that one, though I don't want to spoil it for the rest of you any more.

Eh, Venom could be my least favortie villain in the show, or one of them. The symbiot arc was my least favorite arc.
I still didn't buy some of the motivation of Brock.
I agree. But still they did pretty good with a weakly written character from the comics.
It's the most tolerable version of the character for me.
For me, Venom is easily one of the two or three best Spiderman villains (along with Mysterio and Green Goblin). I'm often surprised to hear fans saying that they prefer the likes of Rhino.
Whereas Brock's motivation was clear and easy to understand in the comics, that's not the case in this show. I hope that future seasons explore Eddie's upbringing, how he feels about the plane crash that killed his parents and how he feels about not having an 'Uncle Ben' figure in his life to keep him on the straight and narrow, because his sudden change from being a great friend to a bitter enemy was a bit hard to swallow.

Venom (LikeScorpion) were made as the doppleganger stronger arch enemy as Bizzaro is to Superman. That is what they were made for and they are good (Venom is better at this role than scorpion) but used so much which is why people dislike him as well as his considered poor motivation. In the show his origin was just too fast and needed more time.
I don't think it was too fast, he had the whole first season to set himself up. I think the problem with Brock/Venom is that pretty much everything he was mad at Pete about was entirely justifiable by either his being sPider-Man saving the day, or being under the influence of the very Symbiote he's grown so fond of.
Ironically, pretty much every other villain on the show has a better reason to hate sPidey. Marko & O'Hirn could never complete a good night's work with him around, Toomes was robbed of retribution, Octavius believed him to be the one who caused the accident initially but just kind of snowballed from there to how sick he was of the whole world and Montana, actually doesn't really hate sPidey, he's just hired by people who do. But I think Electro had the best reason because when he was desPerate and scared and needed reassurance, sPider-Man flies in out of nowhere, strings him up, calls him a crook, makes catty remarks and removes his mask for everyone to see and be terrified of so he can take a few pictures.
well if we get a 3rd season maybe we can get lucky and they will do a past episode about peter/eddie post parents deaths.
