Got the urge to draw yet another Routh Superman. Scan didn't turn out not as nice as it usually does for some reason.

Been wanting to do another Batman for a while.

The scan made his mouth area look strange for some reason. Not sure why. Must be from the resizing.

Got burnt out on drawing. So I took my time with this one.

Always great to see your work.

What kind of pencils do you use for shading O'Haire?

0.7 Mechanical pencil, Staedtler pigment liner, and Mars Lumograph Sketching Pencils.

And I use Kleenex and Q-Tips to make it look smooth.

This one is BY-FAR your best work!! His face looks incredible!

it's been said before, but you're a master of the pencils. this one is my favourite. is it an original composition or taken from a photograph?

I am working on a James Bond right now. I hope to get finished soon. I'm really burned out on drawing. So I am getting it done very slowly.

Your work is obviously incredible. You have an unbelievable talent. You're one of the few artists I've seen whose work can match mine, and I've never had an art class in school where I've had good competition. I draw in a similar style, so I know how difficult it can be to draw photorealistically.

But the problem is that your work almost seems exclusive to copying photos. And you only seem to have posted very popular images, so everyone knows what you copied from. My advice would be to combine various reference photos to create an image that is truly original. Use yourself, sports magezines, ads, anything you want to use as a reference. It can be more of a challenge, but also more enjoyable.

You'll get an original, but in that photorealistic style you favor so much.

(And my comment in the first paragraph is not boasting. I'll post some of my artwork soon to prove it.)

Keep up the good work!

Geez, I really have to get my art posted.
It's not as good as these, but I like them.
I'm shyitty with shading, though.....

Took me 3 tries just to get it to look decent. Craig is a pain in the ass to get right. I worked on it for a month. I know the suit looks like crap. Don't care. I'm done and sick of looking at the picture. LOL

The suit looks like crap? You're nuts! Looks incredible! I hope you don't mind but I added a bit of colour. Did this in about 5 minutes. If you want a piece of advice; learn Photoshop (if you don't already) and get paid!
