"County" is centered on the shield. "Sheriff" is an afterthought, or someone's immature way of making the police seem "cool" by tricking it up a bit.

The term Humvee is probably too military for the general public.

Well, to make things interesting storywise, Prowl should not be a Police SUV, but remain a Police Car. Why you might ask? Wel;l, because in a sequel Megatron could play some head games with the humans and turn them against the Autobots by utilizing Barricade to cause trouble disguised as Prowl. You limit the amount of subtle chaos that can spice up a movie by making Prowl anything but a Police Car.

Thats a myth, the best way to avoid clumpping is to constantly stir. All salt does is increase the boiling point of the water.
