Transformers first trailer , which ya want to see who?

Yes I share the same views, although the one scene I would love to see is the Bumblebee vs Brawl fight in particular the bit where they

2) Spike have troubles in life & school aka Mikaela

3) Him buying the crappy Camaro from Bernie Mac (been told numerous times one plot is a boy and his first car)

4) Bumblebee fully transformed

5) Minor characters doing their thing (Lennox, Maggie and comical humor from Anthony Anderson etc.)

6) Flashes of action with certain Transformers and humans (desert, Hoover, downtown LA, [BLACKOUT]the Frenzy Airforce One thing if they kept it[/BLACKOUT], wherever)

7) Optimus Prime introducing himself

You had me up until the last bit. There's no need to draw groans from the audience by making the same mistake as the trailer.

I hope to hear Cullen's voice at some point and I think there'll be a lot of people (lapsed fans?) who recognise him.

Yeah that would be a cool line to have, although we wont see Prime saying it.

nah the teaser was the bull**** they gave to us a couple mounths ago. Showing an actual Transformer transforming doesn't strike me as being a teaser. Plus the explosions would include scenes of Starscream firing on the autobots. And we all know that the end of the trailer will say TRANSFORMERS A Michael Bay Film, we cant avoid that no matter how hard we try.

No, logos, just a fade in . . .

1. Close-up shot on Anthony Anderson, laughing his head off while looking at something off-screen, but then suddenly changing his facial expression to dead serious. Dark, low-pitched musical sounds begin to creep in.

Logos flash on screen . . .

2. Military ospreys fly overhead at dusk, picture dissolving to an exterior of an airforce base. We see a detail of the face of Josh Duhamel, with Tyrese Gibson to his left of the frame. Music gets more complex at this point, and becomes dramatically melodic.

3. From another [slow blink-like] fade-in we see an old, yellow beat-up camaro, with black racing stripes following a father, and his son in their pick-up truck, who are pulling into a car dealership. (we're only at about 26 seconds into the trailer).

4. Bernie Mack asks absent minded Shia LeBeouf [who's looking at the camaro]: "So . . . this'll bee Your first car?" Spike's dad looking on.

5. Cut to walking Rachel Taylor, camera moving backwards in front of her on a dolly: "The signal did not come from the Chinese, or the Russians!" Hot, and upset, that se is being ignored. Cut to John Voight [with Hoover Dam background]: "Why wasn't I told about this?!"

Lots of girls in the audience are going to roll their eyes. Dudes will be all interested at the edge of their seats but will no doubt be confused at the lack of recognizability of the characters or vehicles. "Yo! Where's Soundwave? And what the f* was that car... a Camaro?" Many dudes will roll their eyes. "Yo they pimped up Optimus Prime yo!"

And at the end, we'll all be hoping the Spider-Man 3 trailer comes up next so we can forget what we just saw.

I think everyone that grew up on Transformers G1 (a huge generation of ppl)... but is no longer a "fan"... remembers Soundwave. In fact, it's "the fans" (the ones that have been through and accepted all the incarnations) that I think are the most RECEPTIVE to this movie.

no i think peoples knowledge goes only as far as how optimus looks like.....
