As far as counterparts go:

Fray-Buffy
Daisy-Giles
Twylight-Willow
Matt-Xander
Larrylegend-Jenny Calendar
You-Cordelia,but dumber and ****tier.
Gunblade- Er..Cordy/Xander/Anya/minor character

Most of everyone is still pretty much themselves.The main characters are only based on the buffy counterparts,so everyone is still pretty much themselves.For example,Matt might be the powerless normal guy that Xander is,but he's still his politics-lovin' annoying self.Fray might be in the buffy role,but you'll notice that she'll exhibit some characteristics of Faith as well,just because it seems more natural to her real life character.LL might be the love interest of Daisy like Jenny,but he doesn't have breasts and he's not familiar with any kind of magic of gypsy crap.Though I can't guarantee he'll survive in the show.
