i wish there were a few more episodes this season. hbo and showtime have the best shows on tv right now, but their seasons are too short.

Yeah, everyone should go to the 20- to 24-episode standard. I want more FotC!

hmmm... i like the 12-13 standard for cable shows... it gives flexibility to when these seasons air, so we get quality shows during the summer.

just my opinion though.

I'm a fairly new convert to the show, but I absolutely love it. I happened to catch their stand up a few months ago without any idea they had a full fledged show. I've been watching them on the computer and just bought the first season DVDs.

I've been re-watching the first season that I had Tivo'd, since there's not much worth watching these days. Man, I can't wait for the new season to start up. I hope this ****ing strike ends soon.

I don't know. I don't know much about how the unions work in Hollywood. Does everybody have to be in their respective union to even get work there?

That's how I understand it. Like you can't act on film if you're not in the screen actors guild. It's probably the same for writers, and when they go on strike it means they all have to go on strike.

i haven't heard that. i'm not sure how it works. i wonder if the stories would suffer if that were to happen.

I got the season 1 DVD yesterday. I was pretty disappointed by the lack of any extras whatsoever, but at least I can watch the episodes any time I want to. The menus and packaging are fun...
