Keeps giving me errors.
"we just hope there are a few more motor-mouth scenes to establish his character a little more"
i dont think he meant new after the leak.Every scene he discusses as "new" footage is already in the leak and some of the scenes are the worst ones in the film.
Gee, by the author's positive spin on the footage we've already seen in the leak I wonder if he works for Fox? Oh wait, IGN is owned by Fox (Rupert Murdoch).

Every knows IGN is owned by Fox. What else did you expect from them?
Technically it is "new" because the leak footage was not meant to be released.
That much is true but by the title you expected it to be the footage that was supposedly reshot after the work print, and that seemed to be the point of the story.
It's new footage for those that have only seen the trailers and not for the benefit of those that watched a stolen copy. That much is true but by the title you expected it to be the footage that was supposedly reshot after the work print, and that seemed to be the point of the story.

Ouch, we're getting all moralistic about it. If the film had been any good, I would gladly pay for me and my girlfriend to go to the theaters to see it.
I understand what the purpose of the article is and why it was presented; I just assumed that they were presenting these scenes in response to the negative criticism of the work print to reassure prospecting viewers. The funny part to anyone that has seen the work print is that all but one of the scenes is pretty much finished in the leak.
I can't really blame the author for getting a little excited at the footage because when you see it it comes across as a great teaser for what's to come; what he doesn't realize, based on his synopsis, is that he saw these scenes in their entirety and not just a tease of them.
No, Narrows is right - this is a promotion for the film, it's not meant as a response to anyone who's seen the workprint. It wasn't meant to be seen in the first place, and why promote the fact that a workprint is out there when your goal is to entice people to see the actual film?
Not everyone has seen the workprint, and plenty of people are waiting for the actual release.
I'm not saying it was for people who saw the work print. I am saying that it is to reassure those who haven't seen it and a response to the negative criticism surrounding it. I also added that I find their particular choices of scenes funny considering their status in the work print.

Wow this movie sounds fantastic, I'm even more hyped!
When part of your audience has already seen most of your film as an illegal download, why would you give away the few surprises you have left?
