For the People With All Three Systems (XBOX 360, PS3, Wii) Thread

However, won't 60GB fill up really fast? And from what I know about PS3 is that you can upgrade the HD with laptop HD, but I don't know if you can do likewise with 360. If so, then Pro + wifi sounds better than Elite, but you still have to spend that $100 for something that should've been included in the first place.

Well there is software out there that'll let you transfer files from your 360's HDD to your computer. Iv had the 20gig HDD since launch and iv never gone over 10gigs worth of data. With that said tho, i dont download much other stuff. I have like 4 arcade games and when i download demo's, i usually delete them shortly after i played them or once i get the full game. Honestly, if you are just going to be playing games then you dont need all that space, i mean its nice to have, but unnecessary.

As for that wi-fi adapter, yea i agree 100 bux is steep, but like i said, it works really well and seems to be stronger than whats in the PS3.

Multiplatform games should always go to 360, unless for some reason you're more partial to getting it for the PS3 (People you know that will play it more than likely).

Why? Because countless games are getting exclusive DLC for the 360, and PS3 games are left in the ****.

Okay, but why does it cost $100 for 360 wifi adapter then, when PS3 has wifi built-in?

Technically, you can get the original Xbox Wireless adapter for about $30-40 if $100 is too much.

What's nice about having it separate is that if the wifi adapter included in the PS3 goes bad, you're sending the whole thing off for repair.

I've had a few people tell me they don't have a wireless network setup, so for those people, it's an unnecessary $100 item built in.

I'm glad to see someone else is having a problem with their PS3 wifi signal.. I get horrible signal strength (30-50%) and get dropped from the PSN constantly. I dunno what the Wii and 360 are using but I've never had issues with either of them. Which sucks cause I want the PS3 downstairs with the large tv and surround sound.

I might end up trying one of those signal boosters.. does anyone have any experience with them? Recommendations?

games like Bioshock and Mirrors Edge are getting exclusive content not offered on the 360

I only have one system, but even if I had both, I think it would be a no brainer to get the PS3 version simply bc the 360 controller is horrible for fighting games. The d-pad is way too close to the face buttons to be effective

Renting, if I pick it up.

And probably whichever is in stock, leaning towards 360 cause that's I have a larger pool of friends to draw from to play on it, and I prefer the controller to the PS3s.

I honestly think that I may get this for the Wii. I say this because the game is not made by Infinity Ward, so it may not be great, so I will get it for the Wii because:

- it's cheaper
- I don't have a firstperson shooter for the Wii
- I will save the game Call of Duty 5 (made by Infinity Ward) for the 360/PS3

is this a good plan?

I say good plan. I mean World at War is just a filler anyway, its not worth the purchase on the 360/PS3. Call of Duty 6, made by IW will be worth the 60 dollar purchase.

I say PS3, as using the D-Pad just feels more natural on that controller. The PS3 is the way to go for the D-Pad, the 360's controller is the way to go for the analog.

Right now, i only own a 360 and a psp, but if Square Enix re-releases Final Fantasy VII for the ps3 with the graphics updated to mimic that of Advent Children......I'll get a PS3

I've joined the Wii60 fraternity by purchasing a 360 Pro today, but I haven't installed it yet. Probably do it tomorrow but haven't decided on a Gametag handle.
