For those of you who ENJOYED the movie ... post your thoughts here ...

Nic did it and the effects department modified it with.

Big fan of the character, Cage and MSJ. Great popcorn flick. Not too heavy. Not too light. It accomplished what it was supposed to: entertain. Nuff Said.

I watched the movie with my girlfriend and both her and me had a awesome time. The movie was a 9 out of 10...................surprisingly. Nick Cage did a great job, and Eva Mendes is HOT. The Ghost Rider Rules, now go buy his comic everybuddie!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My favorite part (s): Every time the Ghost Rider was on the screen I trembled with Awe and Respect Go buy his comic......................Now

I come from a background of being very critical of Superhero movies. I am a "purist". Because of that I did not like DD, Hulk, The X-men franchise (2 and 3 are good moives just not good X-MEN movies), and most of the superhero movies.
Only Spider-man and Batman begins score well with me.
Having said all that I must say I had no problems with this movie. I really don't understand what the complaints are about. I thought the humor was appropriate and funny, I thought the effects were good, I thought MJS did a great job at capturing GR. I thought it was good.
The only minor wish I would have had is for the fight scenes to have been longer and more action packed. But I didn't think it was so lacking that it was a problem.
You know what, as I group, comic fans are all over the place. No wonder no one takes us seriously. we don't even know what we want.
I will post a more detailed review later.

now a thought this movie was great. It wasnt as good the spiderman movies, but thats not a problme i give it.

9 out of 10.

I think the director portrayed GR taking those Hidden guys out easily because he wanted to show that GR was so much more powerful than they were. Just because they're some sort of demons doesn't mean GR can't *****-slap 'em. I give it an 8 out of 10, but the more I think about it the more I liked it. Definitely buying the DVD, and I hope they make a sequel.:yay:

The Ghost Rider ranks pretty high among the demons so I'd be suprised if these guys lasted long at all...The guy does eventually take over hell after a while, after all.

I reckon they will make a sequel the way things are going. $15.9 mill on the opening day - perhaps $40 mill on the opening weekend - and that's jsut domestic...there's still worldwide.

Didn't you guys hear?

44.5 million Box Office this weekend!

:woot:

An absolutely fun film. Entertaining and a hoot. I do hope for a sequel and will purchase the dvd.

Sunday totals aren't in yet. It made more than that.

I loved the movie, but the fight sequences weren't really fights. That would be my only critique...... the visuals were stunning... but the action was lacking.

I thought the movie was very cool and entertaining. I didnt go into it with high expectations. I figured the CGI and action would be great, with average dialogue and acting. Pretty much right on from what I thought it was going to be. Soundtrack was very good. Didnt care too much for Eva and her acting skills, but damn, she was freakin' smokin'! Nic did a very good job. I dont know a ton about GR so I dont know if Blaze was supposed to be young or old. Caretaker was great too! Loved the villans and when they were onscreen, I felt like I better not blink or I might miss something. I think Cage's transformation into GR was one of the more enjoyable scenes in the movie. I wanted to see more of him screaming!!! haha.

Definately will go see it again in a few weeks and will definately buy the DVD.

8 out of 10.

MSJ u did a great job and i cant wait for the sequel or directors cut 8/10

8 1/2 out of ten. I went in expecting good. I got better. Special effects were great, acting o.k. (Sam elliott as usual was spot on.) The movie got
past the slow beginning quickly and was a thrill ride from then on. Here's
hoping for a second.

Finlay saw it last night, have to say whatever critic said it was the first "guilty pleasure" of the year nailed it right on the head.

People laughed they ooed and ahhed a bit it was a fun time, and in the end presented itslef far better then DD IMO

Hats off to MSJ you created your own movie for the .... i would say B list comic book hero.

Lets face it, GR isn't in the fore front he has a niche audience in the books, the movie does a good job of respecting that and at the same time making it fun for the General audience.

with strong legs this movie could surpass anyones expectations, and judgeing by the first weekend it will have strong legs

I absolutely loved it! 10 out of 10 for me and my family!

I took my wife, 14 year old son, 6 year old daughter and my son's girlfriend. They all raved about it! When Ghost Rider and Caretaker took out across the desert my daughter grabbed my arm and said, "This is awesome!" Even my wife who hates watching movies loved it! She never took her eyes off the screen. Of course my son loved it...explosions, flaming skulls, busty broads...it's a perfect guy flick.

Also of note...I think this movie will become a cult classic. My buddy went to watch it in a larger town here close to where we live and he said that there were bikers and leather jackets as far as the eye could see. He said he hadn't seen so many bikes and bikers since he went to Little Sturgis. Standing room only was his comment.

I think that demographic is really going to embrace this film and push it's totals through the roof. You gotta remember, there hasn't been a really good biker movie since Easy Rider that I can remember.

I was really entertained by it. I really liked it and I plan to get the DVD. However on the same coin, I don't think it was very good either. Cage was great, the rider effects were perfect. Peter Fonda and Sam Elliott were cool. The story and dialog blew. Wes Bentley performance came close to single handily ruin the movie.

Welcome to the forum...

But your post covers a whole lot of different posts.

1) Goof/mistake/incontinuity
2) Song name
3) Clerks 2 rocks

Make sure you look around carefully because sometimes the post you are thinking of posting may have al;ready posted (some idots get really flamed about that, ignore them)

i thank you very much for the advice and actually i was kinda hoping some one would try n flame me for that so i could point out what a loser they were for taking the time to be such a ****** and actually COMPLAIN about where something was posted as if it really matters :) i find it hilarious when people make them selves look like anal-retentive jerks. i guess your posted scared them away ha ha :)

but any way, yea i loved the movie it was great :)

that reminds me i did enjoy the movie but i am NOT enjoying how hard it is to track down some of these songs such as spiderbait's ghost riders in the sky... alittle help?
