Have to say The Dark Knight is my favorite, but my second favorite is a tie between Captain America: Civil War, Spider-Man & Spider-Man 2 as a two-parter (the plot doesn't stand on its own in the first one) and Wonder Woman.

There are so many good newer MCU films that TDK is getting overshadowed, imo....

TDK is a great well made film, but honestly....I find a movie like Doctor Strange way more entertaining. TDK is a more grounded deep dramatic film, but MCU films are so much fun to watch and you're never bored. I'm not sure where I'd rank TDK.

Avengers Infinity War has potential to be the greatest comic book movie ever made, imo......All they really have to do is show me where the freaking soul stone is and I'm good.

I wouldn't even put The Dark Knight in my top 10, were I to rank them. It's an extremely problematic film.

It's the most overrated movie there is in these circles, although Logan may soon give it a run for it's money.

TDK is a unique, sort of clever take on Batman. It's bold in it's ambition but it's complete lack of self awareness keeps it from being truly great all around.

For me Joker and Bane were really the most memorable aspects of those movies. Everything else was kind of a boring drag, and that includes our lead hero.

That's not to say I don't enjoy it. I have a soft spot for MOST Batman movies, regardless of how good it is. I'll even watch Batman & Robin sometimes if I happen to catch it while it's on.

I agree fully. Avengers is still #1 for me, although Black Panther is a close 2nd.

Black Panther.

Never in the history of ever have i dressed in cosplay to go see a movie and there i was with my family, some of them of thuganese decent, dressed in what we thought would be african or wakadian clothes.

The movie literally has my grandparents asking me to get them Black Panther posters for their house.

No other movie comes close to giving me that out of body experiance.

Prolly 75% of the forum will say TDK is their all time fav comic book movie....but for the rest of us - name your favorite all time comic book film ?

I'll start....

SPIDER-MAN 2 (2004)

For me, i can't even say which is my all time favorite, but it certainly isn't the dark knight.
If i was to go with a top 10, even then i couldn't really rank them. There's just been so many CBM's i have liked.. It might also depend on if you separate them into decades.

The 70s. HAS to be the first Reeve Superman

The 80s, is a toss up between the first Robocop, the original Conan, and Flash gordan, and howard the duck (YES i went there!)

For the 90s, I loved the rocketeer, the mask, the shadow, timecop, the crow, Judge dredd, barbed wire, Spawn, the first blade, and Mystery men.

Then into the 2000s, i loved Unbreakable, Skyhigh (campy fun!) Jumper, Hancock, Helboy, Constantine, Batman returns and batman 4 ever (loved Chris o'donnel) Push, the Xmen, Spidy 1 and 2 (toby), Daredevil (i hated electra though), FF4 (the one with Alba and evans), IM1, Xmen origins: wolvie, and the incredible hulk.

In the 2010s so far, of those i have seen, i've LOVED all of them except
the 2nd Ghost rider, RIPD, 300: rise of an empire, The Losers and Watchmen.
