Fox Takes J.J. Abrams' Fringe

I absolutely love Fringe but if I have to chose between it and Supernatural, then I'd have to chose Supernatural :(

Just watched the 'Candyman' episode, and I gotta say, it would be a monumental shame if this get's cancelled. I genuinenly jumped out my chair when the Candyman appeared behind the door in the teaser. This season is easily there best yet.

I think the problem for Fringe is that, both previous season's started so slow. It took them 10 episodes to find there feet and provide great episode after another. This season however, seem's to have hit the ground running, and really push the show into a greater boundary. I think the addition of another Universe has helped to keep each episode fresh and interesting, whilst still slowly moving the main mythology onwards. Everyone seems to have upped there game, from the wonderful teaser's at the start, to actor's playing multiple versions of themselves. Like I said before, it will be a great shame if this show is cancelled by Fox

agreed. this is the first season where every episode has been phenomenal. i can finally say i'm a fan of this show.

One upside I can think of is if Fringe does get cancelled (looking very likely)
Is that with all of JJ's new shows in the works, Alcatraz, and the one with Emerson and o'quinn, it'd be likely john Noble could find a new home there.

I would hope so because now that I've witnessed john noble I can not live with out him D: Amazing actor.

There is no better ending scene for the fall finale then our Olivia face to face with the fake one

I have a feeling this episode is going to jack with my emotions. Incredible trailer.

i kinda wonder if the series can go beyond this season? like how can they top this unless it's a war between the universes? after the last preview, it seems like alt broyles is going to be the voice of reason over there.

Maybe next season will have to do with the Observers and where/when they are from. We have not seen them in a looong time.

You sure?

Okay then.

  1. “Entrada” picks up where “The Abducted” left off.
  2. This episode’s format is unlike any others we’ve seen this season.
  3. An important location from FRINGE’s very first ep will play a key role in Olivia’s journey back home.
  4. Alt-Broyles supported Olivia last week in a rather passive way. In this hour, he’ll have to decide whether he wants to be an active participant in helping her return home or if he should step back and let things be.
  5. The Fauxlivia-Peter-Olivia triangle is about to get a whole lot more complicated. Fauxlivia’s feelings towards Peter become even more unclear while Olivia seems to know exactly what she wants and Peter is a whole bag of mixed emotions.
  6. John Noble very often gets (rightful) praise about his brilliant work as Walter/Walternate. However, his costars Anna Torv (Olivia/Fauxlivia), Joshua Jackson (Peter) and Lance Reddick (Broyles/alt-Broyles) deserve some special recognition for their heartbreaking work in this episode.
  7. In addition to all the emotional ramifications of the hour, there are quite a few action-packed scenes. There’s a hostage situation, guns are drawn on many an occasion and yep, shots are fired.
  8. Someone important will die. :wow:

If Fringe gets cancelled I'm moving to the other universe; studio execs there can't be anymore boneheaded than over here. I haven't been this excited for an episode of any show in so long

Dear god. That trailer was beyond amazing, i can't wait.

as for Fringe getting canceled. I'm currently working on a Video/Plea for my youtube series to convince people to help save fringe. Will post it either Thursday or friday when its finished. hopefully you guys can help me out. :)

Regarding someone dying my picks are either

Astrid on our side because lets face it the main three are the main cast & they won't die. If someone on the other side dies I can see Walternate killing Broyles trying to help Olivia ?

How can fox make such a kick ass trailer and still move this show to Friday. Its like hey guys we know Fringe is a really good show but meh its still going to Friday.

Fox has been putting a lot of effort in advertising, trailers and consistent interviews with the cast actually. They post a frequent amount of videos on youtube. Along with this crazy trailer they made, it is clear they don't want to cancel this show. In fact if this was any other show they probably would have canned it in season two. Its not like fox to put this much effort in a show that is clearly losing them money.

For that I am grateful.

Alt-Broyles.... :csad:

Great one, though.

They have confidence it can survive on Friday. Yeah right

As for Fox’s other big newsmaking move – shifting Fringe to Fridays - Entertainment President Kevin Reilly said he hopes fans don’t think he’s putting the show out to pasture. ”We are not killing the show. Over the last week, over 45 percent of the audience time-shifted the show. That’s almost half of the dedicated audience watching it on their DVRs. It’s been such a loyal fanbase. I will be really disheartened if the viewer base decides to not watch because it shifted one night. I hope they go with it, and if not they have the option of picking it up on their DVRs. If it does anywhere near what it did on Thursdays, we can glue that show to the schedule because it can be a big win for us.

So if it does bad on Fridays are they prepared to just renew it next Season & move it again or out right cancel it ?

No ones talking about Entrada? It was sick! I think it was the best epsiode since "Peter"

I am ready for the other reality to go boom. Come on Peter don't disappoint
