that part about peter is interesting. he's obviously meant to do something big.

I really just always guessed he was a clone of Walter. They kept hinting that there was something special about him in earlier eps and it ended up being Olivia but I still think something happened to Peter when he was younger other than the observer saving him. Im still betting hes a Walter clone or somethin similar maybe a clone of the original Peter or maybe hes actually from another reality. Also after Nina Sharps remark about William Bell busy "traveling" I really hope that means hes either A: With The Observer and Walter or B: In a parallel reality.

my and eklypze's theories are correct. i'm almost certain. peter doesn't remember much of his childhood when walter tries to explain it to him. it's b/c that peter never experienced those events.

i guess it is plausible that he could be an alternate younger walter, but an alternate peter would be less confusing to the general audience.

LOM showed the Towers in it's premiere, now Fringe.

Very low-key finale but I liked it. Saw the Peter reveal for awhile, and well, everyone knew about Nimoy. Roberts getting sliced was awesome.

It sure does make writing for the next season a lot less restricting. Great finale, low key as was mentioned above, but it set up future seasons in a great way. Also, the father-son stuff just took on a whole new meaning. John Noble FTW!
