Fox, The Infamous Studio, At It Again!

How can you rape something like Dragonball that's already a steaming pile to begin with?

I don't watch special features, except for films that I'm going to be buying anyways, so I really don't care.

Also, if I want to watch a movie, I go to the theatres, or I buy the DVD. I don't rent.

Edit: Not worth my time.

The only thing that Fox has done to annoy me was canceling The Adventures of Brisco County Jr. and Futurama.

If I watched Arrested Development when it was on the air, I would have said that. But it took the DVDs to hook me.

Don't expect it to stop anytime soon. Rothman was promoted today

I don't think Futurama was actually canceled, was it? Didn't the contract just run out?

Then I shall venture into the X-boards. But if it is anything like the stupidity that is the Watchmen board then I may have a stroke.:csad:
Look up a picture of Baraka from Mortal Kombat, now imagine him in red pants and able to shoot lasers from his eyes. That's Deadpool. :o

They didn't buy any more new episodes but said that they weren't "canceling it". Even though since they weren't buying any more episodes, the animation department had to lay off several of their animators, and it wasn't picked up for another season. So it was canceled.

Yeah finally saw that. Is everyone sure that is Deadpool?

Just because you don't agree with me (by default), that doesn't make me wrong. :p

Screw me for being the one neutral party here. Just because I don't take everyone else's side, that doesn't mean I'm trying to defend the other side.

I just said, it DOES look bad, but it's not a terribly random and totally negative decision on their part. At least there is some logic behind it.

There is logic behind everything...doesn't make it a good decision. You are not neutral dude...you defend Fox with every post. They have done many many terrible things and for you to show a blind eye to that is beyond amazing to me. And for that, you can only be Rothman himself, work for Fox, or have a lot of stock in that company. Fox was once a good studio. Those days are no more.

Stupid, but not surprising in the least. Fox is the George W. Bush of movie studios.

I can't understand any of it. And apparently he's William Stryker's ultimate weapon so he has a bunch of people's powers including CYCLOPS optic beams.

I think he may just be like product of several Mutant Genes mixed togethor, and that it isnt Wade.

Then why did they produce a toy with that same character labeled 'Deadpool'?

Yeah i did'nt see that so therefore i choose to shelter myself and make sure that I never see that till the movie and only want to let myself believe differently. It just can't be that bad!

Go join the two other people in the Deadpool thread thinking everything will be allllllright.

You've never seen a Fox adaption of something have you?!

Of perhaps he just doesn't care?

I mean, personally? I don't give a crap about the "fanboy perspective" on Fox. I like a lot of their movies - X-Men trilogy (yes, including X-Men: The Last Stand), Star Wars, yes I like the Fantastic 4 movies. The Simpsons Movie, Independence Day, Titanic - anyways yea, it's completely possible to be perfectly satisfied with the products that Fox releases.

I have ZERO bitterness towards a movie studio. They make movies. Entertainment. You either like the movies, or you don't. There's no reason to take it so personally (and yes, being a huge X-Men fan, I would be a "victim" of Fox, and know first hand what they can do to a movie - I STILL love the X-Men movies, think they were brilliant, and about 95% accurate to what I know and love about the X-Men).

If he didn't care...he wouldn't worry about our posts. But critically and financially along with the constant outcry of fans...something is wrong at Fox. Hell, even directors have said that they will never work for Fox again. Something is wrong. It is your opinion to think differently but you are in the extreme minority with that view. Fox has problems and it is affecting their movies.
