I'm really digging everything I've seen as well.
Can't wait for this, kinda pissed they are making it two parts, instead of just one long 2 and a half hour one but oh well.
These animated direct-to-DVD features are not allowed to go past 70+ minutes. That is all WHV wants to pay for in terms of money spent on animation. I think that's why Bruce Timm is splitting this up into two parts, so he can fit more of the book in there while still following the budgets he is given for making these movies.
Shane Glines: Gotta love the internet critics. From an article on the new THE DARK KNIGHT RETURNS movie.

For me it's either/or, as long as it doesn't make itself boring to watch or censored, it's fine by me.Léo Ho Tep;23452617 said:I hope it won't be as bland as year one. They shouldn't make a panel by panel adaptation. Under the red hood was great, because it was faithful to the comics, and yet Winnick made some slight changes, and it worked for the better.

Ignorant people..are ignorant. (Even when they're on the internet and google's a click away.) That's my problem with fanboys - misinformed and reactionary
I agree with the sentiment, but I also think that they're kinda' held back by limitations and budgets on animation in the US.
