I just changed my wallpaper at work because of TDKRA news today...

:word:

They only give a set budget for one movie... worth 70-75 mins. They weren't going to double it.

Guess WB thought, ''Split it in two and that'll sort out the fall/spring schedule for this line''.
plus u make double the money this way, kind of like they did with the last harry potter. it wasn't even the longest book so they didn't need to split it, but it made them an extra billion

Cast is a bit unexpected. Weller makes sense in theory but I don't think he would have been my first choice. The images look good, though a bit glossy compared to the source material. It's to be expected though, along with the PG-13 rating which means they'll have to do some editing. In any case, I can't wait to see some footage.

Those stills make this easily one of the best animated DTVs and I haven't even seen it in motion.

I am so psyched for this movie

Love the voice casting so far.

Now I have two reasons to look foreward to this fall; Dredd and Batman:TDKR!

John DiMaggio as the Joker please. I can't hear Hamill as this version of The Joker at all. TDKR's Joker is way too deadpan for Hamill.

Hamill is retired from playing Joker. He said Arkham 2 was his last gig as the Joker. :csad:

All I know is Peter Weller voicing Batman and Wade Wailliams voicing Two-Face (love his Black Mask voice in Under the Red Hood, I know he will be great.

Rocksteady called him a ''dirty liar''... I think his whole retiring thing was based on the games dramatic ending.

They are going to release some more DCUO with him as Joker in June.

AND he said he would happily come back for a Killing Joke adaptation.

Frank Miller's Joker is probably the most understated version I've seen, he doesn't laugh once in ASBAR...

Yeah..let's not go that far. Year One looked fantastic and that was a decent at best DTV.

WB is smart breaking this into two parts, they'll see a pretty penny because of it.

Trailer looked pretty decent, but more on the level of YEAR ONE.

The Joker in DKR is a bit different that the other versions Miller's written. For one thing, he's written much better.
