it's funny that there has been more remakes of this film than there was any sequels. the movie was remade back in the 90s for tv with Shelly Long as the mom and Gabby Hoffman as the daughter and the one with Curtis and Lohan.

What I didn't know is that there was ANOTHER remake in 2018 that was a Disney Channel original movie.

What I didn't know is that there was ANOTHER remake in 2018 that was a Disney Channel original movie.

yup that was the one I mentioned with Shelly Long and Gabby Hoffman it came out 30 years ago I remember they did a few made for TV remakes of old era movies, like The Shaggy Dog, The Computer Wore Tennis Shoes, and The Love Bug among others.
