The Dark Knight From LatinoReview: Joker Intro SPOILERS!

No ones here to bash either director, we should all really get together and bash LR.

YEAH! Tell LR to stuff it in their Taco Supreme!

Yeah, I hate the "vs" debates that end up attacking one thing to prove the other better (Nolan Rulez, Burton sucks, and viceversa). You know, some people like both... And start to hate them because of this silly arguments...

Well said.

I like Burton's films as well as "Begins", I'm a big fan of both directors. But the climate around here seems to make it that, because I like "Begins" a little bit more than any other Batfilm, I have to "take sides" just to defend the film.

Some of the attitudes in this "Burtonite/Nolanite" war are very hostile. Take CConn. He wouldn't accept my compromise that there were both intelligent posters and idiots on both sides of the fence, and it takes two to start a conflict. He wanted me to admit that "Nolanites" alone were solely responsible for ALL conflict that has ensued, while saying that "Nolanites" should accept any and all abuse from "Burtonites" without fighting back, because Nolan fans "started it", and therefore deserve all they get.

That is very true. Burton and Nolan both brought different views. And I do hate being yelled at by some because I did like Nolan's vision a lot more then Burtons. And they even sometimes bring out the worst in me where I start yelling at Burton almost. When I own a lot of his movies. He is a great director. But I do hate when people rip on us because a lot of us prefered Nolan's vision over Burtons. But oh well. On a positive note I can't wait for the trailer.

I personally think that Nolan has more potential to create a great Batman movie than Burton did.

Burton does probably the best miniature work I've seen ever, his visuals were right on cue, but story was weird......Nolan, for what he lacks in visual, more than makes up for in story. They both are great, I just hold Burton more at fault for the wonderful Schumacher films, and Nolan's BM was a little better, plus he resurrected the franchise.

The whole bank premise sounds no more or less credible than the "microwave emitter" schtick from Begins. Isn't it the solemn duty of all comic movies to put a dick in the ear of credulity? Instead of bickering like barren aunties, why don't you guys learn how to play the banjo? Study the classics? Develop the capacity to contract and expand your pupils at will? The possibilities are endless, really.

I think that the comic book movie producers have an obligation to create a story as intelligent as the best Batman comics.

If we did all that, then what would be your reason for posting? There would be no more wonderful mind-enlightening options for you to give us.

I'm not a big fan of this holding up the mobs money for ransom thing...I would be more inclined to believe that the Joker was hired by the mob, then initiatied a successful Coup (or whatever)...

That I could believe, eventually the mobs goes away and all thats left is the freaks.

Simple, really. because I can do all three at once. You should check out the youtube clip of me performing the Oresteia to the tune of "Soldier's Joy" while my pupils go bonkers. Good stuff.

I've said time and time again that my one "must-have" scene for the third film is a Godfather-style montage where the freaks take out the last remaining crime bosses to finally claim Gotham as their own.

I remember you saying that from time to time......Well add another to that bandwagon. (the end to TLH)

It would be sweet to see the freaks take over, and in the end Dent says: "My city...."

hey Latinoreview where the **** is our script review you promised three ****ing times

First and foremost this is a highly stupid idea. It's too straightforward to be used as an introduction to the batman's biggest nemesis. Stealing money from gothams mob and holding it for ransom? wtf is this crap, seriously speaking, this makes no sense with the point of escalate and a mob war. LR are bunch of ******s, and they need their s*** pushed in. I truly hope this isn't how the story goes down. I would preffer that the mob can't take batman by themselves and they turn to joker, that makes joker look extremely bad ass and psychotic. Not the fact that, joker needs help in taking down the batman, that makes him look like any thug in the street. Joker is just not any thug! This also contradicts the OFFICIAL teaser. Man I want my damn footage already. WB are bunch of idiots for waiting this long, iron man already has 2 teasers. Joker needs to be portrayed as a dangerous psychotic clown mass murderer loner. Besides, joker bribing the mob is not original in a film. Oh and the reason why batman begins was so successful is because it was an origin story and we've never seen an origin tale of batman on-screen. Yes, the action and fighting in batman begins is super crappy. However, would batman begins be successful if BATMAN89 would of had an introduction of batman, I'd say hell no. When you make a movie, you need to see it in both perspective, filmmakers perspective and audience perspective which entails business. People want theatrical showcasing, that's what sells, your not investing your money in a movie, WB executives are. They need to pump up the action, because I'm sure the story for this one will not surpass batman begins.
