The Dark Knight From LatinoReview: Joker Intro SPOILERS!

You know something? He kind of talks about children a lot. Or at least CALLING grown men children.

Why don't you have a seat over here, Brobdingnab.

Whats this? Another off topic post that is nothig but a personal attack? Strangely, no one is calling you a troll. This just further illustrates my point that, at least on the batman board, a troll is someone who didn't like Begins.

That's becuase everybody loves me.

It's true, I was there.

random note on this.

im sure the "high up" warner dude was paraphrasing his intro...

second,

why would Joker all of a sudden have a random vendetta against Batman...if this EXACTLY how it plays out...kinda random...

thoughts on whether or not the Anime DVD will resolve that?

or the IMAX footage?

I was wondering the same thing myself. Perhaps it's just an obsession, I don't think that's all that far fetched for someone that is criminally insane (not that I'm a psychologist). Maybe it's the whole theatricality angle, and that fuels/starts his obsession.

I sense a disturbance in the force............

Yes lol, there has been a wave of trolls in this thread, but trying to act if they are just spouting and opinion, but clearly trying to stir the hornets nest lol. And it is getting tiring.

Other then that, we have gotten quite a bit of news latley, nice change of pace.

indeed i was kinda leaning towards that rationalizing it for myself haha.

yeah so...i guess Batman just has a knack for the criminally insane

I was trying to read through this but i got bogged down in the silly grouping of Nolanites and Burtonites.

This guy - brobdingnag, gets a lot of heat, but his first 3 posts, while unorthadox, were not troll posts, they were just very anti Nolan and he was attacked by the "Nolanites", he then turned to troll posts himself when confronted with reasoned debate.

Bottom line is everyone needs to get that opinions are allowed, whether they be in favour of Nolan's vision or anti Nolan's vision.

You REALLY don't understand what a troll is. A troll ISN'T someone who insults someone else. Guess what, this is the internet.

A troll is someone who goes into a thread and says something meant to bait others. So yes, someone who comes onto a board that is very pro Batman Begins and says in less than tactful wording that they didn't like Batman Begins has the makings of the trolls.

And that post you are responding to made me laugh my ass off! ^_^

except in the batman forums....if your not pronolan, your against everything. :oldrazz:

I have a feeling...
Joker's gonna burn the money up anyway, if the mob helps him or not. That would be the ultimate Joke...

I'd forgotten about that scene, but if this Latino Review article has a granule of truth to it then that's always a possibility.

Someone said that this "money ransom" thing was done in SWAT. It's been done a lot, period.

I would prefer not to see PATIENT J lumped in with DEAD END, if that's all right with you all. I find that the writers put a lot more depth into their portrayal of The Joker than DEAD END did. And uh...

Anyway, I translated it.

It basically says that, being a professional actor who was paid a lot of money to play a psychopath who adheres to no rules and having been directed on how Nolan wanted the character portrayed, Heath Ledger read some comics and spent some time thinking about how to play/become that character by experimenting with voices, presences, etc. Same as any other decent actor. He didn't just walk onscreen and wing it.

What else did you expect it to say?

Maybe you should read the New York Times interview to see how a little more above Ledger has taken it instead of just some "average actor"

He has written a diary for MONTHS and in the diary thinks and writes like the Joker to get himself deeper into the mind of a psychopath. And the article is translated else where on the forums. And it says much more then the bland interpertation of Ledger's acting abilities that you have branded him with.

I have a question about the validity of the lationreview article..

In the teaser, alfred said: they turned to a man they fully didn't understand. or something close like that.

So...presumably, they is the mafia, and the man is Joker...well that's what I always thought.

So why is Joker holding the money at ransom?

And why would the mafia go after Batman, instead of Joker, if Joker betrayed the mafia?

Explain?

Having dealt with a few of them myself, that's pretty average actor stuff. :)

And I've not said a thing about his acting abilities.

You can drop the "those of us who value story and spirit" because that isn't a distiction between us. In Bats DE, I see better dialog than begins, better action, better cinematography and are more realistic batman (ie the utility belt that actually holds things).

the above statement has been highlighted because it is one of the most absurd things ive ever read on the hype.

everyone is entitled to their opinion but c'mon.

oh, and batman does not wear cloth, it is body armor in the books son. currently its kevlar i believe.

Interesting, I had no idea some actors went this far. But from what I've heard we will be in for a big treat with Ledger's performance. :yay:

is the joker diary average actor stuff?

agreed...ledgers performance is going to be mind blowing....and thats based on a couple voice sounds and pics.

then add the other actors credibility.

then add the fan support....along with the hype this movie will have.
