I think there is nothing to worry about. Money talks in Hollywood. Paul Haggis was not going to do another Bond script he was saying no way for a long time while he worked on In the Valley of Ellah. But look who re-wrote Bond 22.

Nolan will, TDK will be a huge success. and Bale and Ledger have to do 3, and I think Nolan will not abandon them, Bale and Nolan are good real life friends.

And there has been already lots of talk of "Shadow of the Bat" being written by Jonathan Nolan.

To me its not even a worry. JL and BB trilogy will be seperated and for fans of both or one of the other.

They banned me because someone said "JUSTICE LEAGUE is looking like it will suck", and I had the gall to point out that only insecure, whining fanboys think this is the case. Then they went into their twelve year old "This is a house of God where we don't throw insults at each other, we exist in likeminded harmony" routine, and I defended my statements and pointed out they couldn't be insults, and were not meant as such.

But hey, whatever, I was dangerously close to convincing the BOF flock that Chris Nolan might not walk on BATMAN 3 just because JUSTICE LEAGUE utilizes Talia. Almost bet 100 bucks on it.

Yeah....I think Nolan is definately going to want to finish his trilogy at the very least. He is to good of a storyteller and director to want to quit before completing his vision and story.

Yea he probably will. But there has been lots of talk that his brother is all ready working on the script for the third. And yea Nolan ain't going to walk out, he's not a cry baby director, he does his work for us fans, and we know for a fact that the story him and Goyer cooked up was made to be a trilogy. And I don't think he's going to walk out after 2 of them.

Aggreed! Nolan has a plan/love for these charactors. He and Goyer had a loose story for all three films. He would feel like he was letting all of us down if he dropped out.

I think Nolan needs to get it thru his head that he should stick to Batman films for the rest of his career and forget all his dreams and aspirations and trade them in for our dreams and aspirations. But damn it.. everything else he's done has been good too. So he should do a Batman film every 3 years until he dies and throw a movie in between each one.

As long as the Joker is in it (even in the non Batman films he throws in between) I'll be happy.

I hate to say it but i've often had a dodgy feeling about Nolan and movie three. I really hope he stays....but...yeah, you never know. SupermanBeyond and Silodus make god points though, i think. *crosses fingers*

He could do a film between TDK and pt3 that is TDK from the Joker's perspective. Then again that's just crazy and would absolutely never happen ever.

Universal Pictures has signed a deal for Christopher Nolan to direct a feature version of TV series classic The Prisoner. The series ran for 17 episodes in 1967. Patrick McGoohan played a government agent who resigns, is kidnapped and placed on an isolated island known as "The Village". He's given a new identity -- Number Six -- and interacts with an island staff trying to get him to reveal why he resigned. The screenplay adaptation comes from David Webb Peoples and Janet Peoples, the husband and wife writing team who last collaborated to make 12 Monkeys. The film will take place in modern day. This project is projected to begin production after work is completed on The Dark Knight, with the studio currently hoping for a release date in the summer or fall of 2009, which means that the third entry in the Batman franchise will be delayed until 2011.
