Art by: Mike Choi & Sonia Oback
Release Date: March 25, 2009

The birth of a single mutant child forever changed the landscape of the X-Universe. Some see the baby as the last hope for mutankind's survival; others see it as the bringer of the Apocalypse… No one knows which side is right because Cyclops handed the newborn over to Cable, believing his son could save both the child and mutantkind. But Cable never came back.

Now, months later, Cyclops has found his son hiding in the FUTURE... and he's sending in the one team that will do what needs to be done in order to ensure the survival of their species... X-FORCE.

The X-Men event of the decade, "MESSIAH COMPLEX," continues here as the past, present and future converge in the pages of X-FORCE and CABLE. Continues next month in the pages of CABLE #13 and X-FORCE #14!

i want Elixir to grow Bishop's arm back

and speaking of that..couldnt he technically do the same for cable? fix his body where the techno organic virus has destroyed it?

technically yes he could do both.

''Technically'' and ''Theoretically'' don't work the way they do in reality when dealing with comic science.

Cable doesn't want his techno-organic virus cured. He thinks he's way too powerful when he has full access to his powers, and when a time-space snafu caused him to come back from House of M perfectly healthy, he went out of his way to give himself back the virus and burn out his powers again.

Because he's an idiot.

I thought he was already cured of his TO virus way back towards the end of his original series?

I was in for the first run of X-Force last year and didn't realsie they were ongoing! I'll have to get my ass in gear and hunt down some back issues...

And then he went out of his way to give it back to himself on purpose during Cable & Deadpool.

yeah that does sound dumb. Why isnt he dead? The only reason why the TO virus didnt completely take over his body before was bc his TK kept it in check but he has no powers now.

He somehow found a way to keep the TO virus benign while allowing him access to none of his powers.

SO. i was at the comic book store and saw this comic about bishop... has anyone else seen it? it's interesting yet weird. i don't want to talk about it if no one else has seen it.

yes we all know about it.

are u referring to the one that explains his reasoning as to WHY he is now insane and in baby killing mode?
