Hmm. Barrow and vampires. Doesn't look like Carnage is coming back, so I'll probably drop Rorschach and jump into this arc.

Well, I'm off to work on my first post. Ta very much all. Be seein' ya.

edit:

Okay, so I've been thinking. The way I see it, there's two ways I can do the Doctor. I could do it linear, from the Doctor's point of view (ie. starting with the first, going through his various regenerations in order as time goes by)

OR

I could go with the more interesting way, and have him appear in his various incarnations throughout - as though from the point of view as people he meets. Example, one character could meet the 10th Doctor, and much later the 6th and later still the 8th. All jumbled up - much more interesting no? Although, if people don't like it, I'll stick to linear.

Dropping Rorschach.

Screen Name: Byrd Man

Character you'd like to portray: Hellboy

Superhuman powers, traits, other attributes of interest: Superhuman strength, stamina, and durability, Healing factor, Extended lifespan, Ability to easily comprehend and interpret ancient magical languages, Knowledge and experience of fighting the supernatural, Invulnerable Right Hand of Doom is the key to the end of the world. (from Wikipedia)

Originally appearing from (which comic, and company?): Hellboy, from Dark Horse

Fictional history of the character (as you're going to interpret it): Same as it was, summoned by Nazis in WWII, found by Americans, spent the 20th Century as a paranormal investigator for the Bureau of Paranormal Research and Defense, only he never quit and is still with the Bureau.

Hero, Villain, or Walking the line?: Hero

List a few reasons why you chose this character: I like reading the Hellboy comics and I enjoyed both movies. I like "blue-collar" heroes and Red is down to earth, for...you know a demon from hell.

How will this character differ from it's original incarnation?: Not really.

Write two complete sentences explaining what you can bring to this RPG: I can bring a decent RPer with two and a half years experience on these boards. I can also bring a big, cigar chomping hero with a big-ass right hand.

How many days a week you intend on posting in the RPG: As much as possible/when I can

Please provide a small sample post as your character, at least three paragraphs and one line of dialogue in length:

BPRD HQ
Colorado

"Hellboy. Are you even listening?" Dr. Manning says as we sit in the briefing room.

"Sure am." I say as I light up a fresh cigar.

"You need me to go kill some vampires."

"Not just any. These appear to be a different breed than the classical vampires. Only thing that kills them is either decapitation, or contact with the sun."

I take a long drag off my cigar and exhale the smoke.

"So, where am I headed?"

"Barrow, Alaska. This is a joint effort by the CIA and the BPRD. Please watch after the spooks."

"Heh. Spooks. Sure, I'll watch after them."

"Good. Your flight leaves in a half hour."

Do you know how to post pictures on the Hype boards?: Yep.

I was gonna make another Chuck and Kirk post, try to generate some interest again. But I didn't want to just waste me time. :(

So...anyone feel like giving me a rundown on what's happened thus far in the season? Anything major or a whole lotta Jack and ****?

The latter half. There have been some arcs discussed. But like almost everything, it teeters out. I really wish this RPG would come back, I'd love to continue as Rorschach and Bones.

Has this game been suffering from G&M Syndrome? Meaning little to know character interaction and too much solo arcing?

Probably. Although we were on pace for a huge team up in Alaska against vampires, but everyone but me seemed to fizzle out on it. :(

That actually sounds like fun. Where did that arc leave off?

Ok. So it's Chuck meets Buffy meets Angel meets James Bond (well, Felix Leiter, actually) meets 30 Days of Night.

So, a secret CIA installation near Barrow, Alaska has gone silent. Fearing it's Fulcrum, Chuck and team are sent to investigate. There, they meet up with Felix Leiter's team and run into vampires.

Also in Barrow is Angel and Spike, and GL had Buffy and crew on their way as well. I even think Byrd had the BPRD send Hellboy up there.

Right now, the Chuck group are trying to escape the CIA installation after running into the vamps. Read my last couple of posts. That should clear it up. (Just skip over the Star Trek posts while doing so)

Well...if this game's gonna keep going, I'd be willing to continue on with Spike

Yeah, I'll definitely be jumping on board into the vampire arc. Probably get an app up tomorrow.

Well, in that case I'll be getting a post in later on, sometime this week

Ok, so obviously the roster is in some serious need of updating then.

Wieg plays Chuck and Kirk.

Byrd's got Rorschach and Bones.

Nitemare Shape has Spike.

Is that the only active PCs there are now or are there more?
