Animation Futurama Thread

They had to have just made out naked. Zoidberg's species dies when they have sex.

When they have sex or when they reproduce?

Anyway, another good episode. I'm really surprised that this new season has been as good as it has.

Hah, that was a great episode. Somewhat disgusting, but I guess that's what helped make it great :cwink:

I love it how these new eps fit in with the rest of the series. They don't feel out of place or anything.

Prisoner of Benda was hilarious.

"Ahh! Cartilage!"

The best part was at the restaurant with Fry (Zoidberg) and Leela (Farnsworth). That had me rolling.

And Scruffy! lol

Leave it to Futurama to make a relationship between a bucket and a janitor a bit touching.

Ok Ive noticed this since like the 2nd ep but have yall noticed that all season they have been doing really weird things involving the interpersonal relationships between all the characters? Last night was like just one big episode about it, just seemed a bit weird to me plus it seems like one week Fry and Leela are together and the next they aren't. Still all the episodes have made me laugh damn hard so its still a big A in my book

They are definitely screwing around with the characters quite a bit, from Bender & Amy getting married (which was too much for me to take), to, as you said, the writers being too reluctant to make a choice on whether Fry & Leela are together now, to Cubert and Leela's future relationship, to Hermes being Bender's Inspector #5. "Proposition: Infinity" is the only episode I didn't even find particularly funny, and it's natural to want to play around with the dynamics, especially as you don't want to finally get this incredible chance at a comeback just to do all the same things.

Leela only married Cubert in that alternate future because Fry went forward in time.

And he reminded her of Fry. So far love the season, except that damn cat episode.

And I've never seen Zoidbergs neck do that before lol

Woah, this got buried back quite a bit, but I'll bump since I just watched the last episode. I liked it quite a bit, especially the Orson Welles bits, reminded me a lot of The Critic.

Wondering if the whole "mutants living on the surface" will stick or will it be going back to status quo by the next episode.

I don't see why not. The character designs on the surface are already aliens and mutant looking anyway, why not just include mutants too.

I thought it was very good, sort of changes things for the future, but not really in my opinion.

He wasn't in long enough to be affected.

Don't think too much about it. After all, Fry is his own grandfather.

If the universe doesn't care then who are we to judge? Lol

Crap, I forgot about the Holiday special last night. But it'll air again. Wasn't in the mood to watch a Christmas episode before Thanksgiving anyway.

If you don't have all of the DVD sets, Amazon has all 4 for under $10 today. Got all 4 for $36 :)
