G.I.Joe 25th anniversary figures

My joe collection has gotten a bit bigger. Last month, I found Lady Jaye, Beachhead, Buzzer, and the new Cobra 5 pack(it plays the theme song from gijoe the movie! "crashing through the sky, comes the fearful cry of Cobra, COBRA...").

And then yesterday I found Stalker, shipwreck, cobra red ninja, Zartan and firefly.

The only figure Ihaven't been able to find is Serpentor. I haven't seen him anywhere. The entire line is hard to get in fact.

I'm happy about the 2 packs. I can't wait to get more Dreadknoks. The next wave looks kind crummy though. Why do we need another Snake Eyes? And of all the Joes, why pick Flash, he's really not that great or that popular.

My guess for why they have Flash is because he was one of the original figures from '82.

Still can't find Serpentor anyway. I did see the Cobra Legions pack today though at Target. Comes with black CC and Storm Shadow with the Cobra elbem on his mask.

I love this 25thA toyline of G.I. Joe...but all I can find is Cobra Comander....I just want the two ninjas and I'll be happy...

A friend of mine used to be a toy dept. mgr at Walmart and he told me he talked to a Hasbro rep a couple of months ago who says, at this particular moment, these 25th anniversary Joes are actually slightly outselling Marvel Legends(which Hasbro doesn't attempt to promote because they feel like it sells itself. The rep's words, not mine).

So, you're having trouble getting Serpentor too, Vile? Does anyone know which joes are short packed? Packing ratio? I seem to see a LOT of Cobra commander, Snake Eyes, and Storm Shadow and everybody else is a ***** to get lol.

I've been lucky so far, I've found many of the figure's here in town, I've found all three 5 packs as well as Shipwreck, Stalker, Zartan, Firefly and Red Ninja.
I've had to buy Serpentor, Lady Jay, Beachhead and Buzzer off of ebay.

So I opened Firefly. I had only 2 other 25th anniversary figures that were opened, Flint and a Cobra trooper. I have to say, I hate the elbows. Otherwise the figures are pretty sweet. But the elbows suck. Firefly would be better if he had a place to store his phone and machine gun on his backpack. he's got this huge awkward backpack with a cool little storage container that doesn't fit anything.

The single Joes come in packs of eight, and there's always a Snake Eyes and Storm Shadow in each one. I've seen Cobra Commander show up in a lot of them as well.

GoD! these things are impossible to find, only ones i have are the ones i have actually seen..wich are ZARTAN & SNAKE EYES with the white TIMBER
i just ordered the COBRA 5PACK from the hasbor website, but i have seen dieffrent cobra 5pack around on-line its in a white box did that that one come out before these or is it just a completly dieffent line

There are 2 different Cobra 5 pack's, the first one with Cobra Commander in Blue on the front and contain's Cobra Commander, Destro, Baroness, Stormshadow and Cobra Trooper w/ Gijoe logo sound box.
The second 5 pack has Cobra Commander in Black with a huge Cobra logo and contain's Cobra Commander (Black Uniform), Stormshadow, Cobra Trooper, Cobra Vehicle Driver (Grey Stinger driver uniform) & Cobra Air Trooper with Cobra logo sound box.

Well these figures seem to be coming in in much greater frequency now, at least at my TRU. Not only that, but 8 packs the single figures come in have been including all the waves, and not just predominantly Snake Eyes and Storm Shadow. So far I've been able to get all the single figures, minus the second Cobra trooper, and all three 5-packs.

Well no walmarts or toys r us' or other retail chains have these around where I live (Toronto). We have 1 comic shop thats gets these in but it's pretty much whoever they get in, they get in.

For christmas/b-day I got Shipwreck (anchor tat) Beachhead, and picked up Storm Shadow (original version) and Destro (silver head) on friday with the last of my christmas money.

Im collecting these as well. I grew up in the 80's and had a decent Joe collection. I sold it, along with all my other non Batstuff about 8 years back, but with the new 25th line, Ive been re energized about collecting them again. Ive got the first 3 waves and 2 of the 5 packs and have been able to get some of the originals that I wanted back. I dont plan on getting all of the 25th, Ive skipped Buzzer and dont plan on getting the Dreadnok 2 pack. The originals just seem to be cooler to me.lol Im anxiously awaiting the release of the Hiss tank and cant wait to see what other figs are in store for 2008.

Are you looking for all of them? I just went into Target and TRUs and they both had most of waves 2 and 3, plus the Cobra Legions 5 pack reduced to $17.48. (Im waiting for it to go lower)

I have no problem helping other collectors out, but the shipping is what kills.

It all depends on how many figs are in the box. I just checked USPS.com for an idea, a 5 pound box to Canada would cost $20. The figs dont weigh that much, so even if there were 5 - 6 carded figs in a box, it shouldnt cost that much.

The next time Im out and see some, Ill grab them. Give me a list of the ones you want. After I get so many I could ship them all together then give you the actual shipping price.

Ok cool...I'll get you a list but I know I need 2 Flints and if you ever see the dreadnock 2 pack. Those ones I know for sure.

Got Serpentor right before christmas at Walmart. Anyone know when the next wave is coming out? More importantly, who else is confirmed in 2008? All i know is that one wave that features Snow Job, Destro, etc. and the comic 2 packs. What else is coming and are they changing the name to 26th anniversary?

Its going under the 25th label. The first couple waves of 2008, which is hitting now, include single pack figs of some of the figs released in the 5 packs along with Snow Job, Iron Grenadier Destro, Sgt. Flash, and Crimson Guard. They just released pics of Armored Cobra Commander, Torpedo, and Rock and Roll from wave 6. There are also 2 waves of 2 figured comic packs. Those are beginning to hit now and include repaints of figures along with new figs of Torch and Ripper and the Twins, Tomax and Xamot.

Well, my area has hit a slump in restocking. There have been no single carded figs anywhere but the first wave of comic packs has been in abundance. I did see one of the comic packs from wave 2, but not the 'noks.
