The folks at Hasbro have sent out word of the following:

Now that you have had the opportunity to see the entirety of G.I. Joe: Resolute – and have been wowed along with all of us – we now offer you the chance to ask its creators any burning questions about the series. Joaquim Dos Santos (Supervising Director/Art Director), Dan Norton (Lead Art Designer) and Steve Drucker (Executive Producer) will be answering a select set questions chosen from those submitted by fans via the special Q&A submission form found at http://www.hasbro.com/resolute/resolute/en_US/ask.cfm.

Between now and 11:59pm on Sunday, May 3, fans are asked to submit questions to the G.I. Joe: Resolute team. On Thursday, May 7th, a special video will be broadcast on gijoeresolute.com, with Joaquim, Dan and Steve answering some of the more popular and interesting questions submitted by you, the fans.

I'm not a big G.I. Joe fan--never even watched the show--but when I found that one of my favorite comic book writers, Warren Ellis, was involved in it, I gave it a shot. Pretty damn good, all in all.

So is Storm Shadow, because they finally show him killing a GI JOE (albeit off-screen).
But they went and killed him off, and that sucks.

In the comics, Storm Shadow NEVER killed a JOE and he was actually a good guy on his personal quest for revenge. If I had only ONE problem with this series/movie it is the MOSTLY out of character portrayal and final fate of Storm Shadow.

I was hoping they might answer some question about a DVD release or the series continuing.

caught this tonight. It was pretty cool (needed more Snake-eyes IMO, by thats because I love the character), but didn't care for some changes. I liked that Joes and Cobra top people got picked off in it, that was a surprise.

I almost bought the DVD, but the last copy of Hellboy 2 on Blu-Ray was on sale for $20 so I decided to wait for Resolute.

BTW, is the jungle scene on the DVD

BTW 2x: I wish they'd make a full series out of this. :(

I just ordered this brand new. I sooooo can't wait for it to come in :D The art and animation look AMAZING. I haven't really watched anything related to GI Joe though, so I hope it makes sense.

You'll be fine. My main knowledge of G.I. Joe is the animated film and more recently the IDW reboot. I LOVED Resolute. I'd buy it for myself, but it went on my Christmas list instead. This movie blows the live action one out of the water. Not that is was much of a challenge. And I am not one of those people that thinks every sequel, prequel or live action version sucks. I hate to say a film sucks and I only say it about a few films.

So Resolute is only 1 movie right? Not a complete series? The reason I ask is because I went to wikipedia to find out when the dvd would be released about a month back and they said it was, like, a 22 episode series or something.

It might turn into a tv series. Someone at work said it was, but honestly, I hadn't heard anything about it and havn't looked it up. I presume if the DVD sells well enough we'll get a tv series out of it.

And it started out as I think 12 five minutes webisodes. It was meant to air online first and then as the movie (which it did).

Quick question, is this a continuation of A Real American Hero or it's own universe?

WOW!!!

Just re-watched Resolute again!!

And it kills Renegades in every aspect!!!

I loved Resolute. My favorite GI Joe cartoon since the 80's Sunbow series. It kept and combined a lot of great elements of the cartoon and comic and added its own fresh modern spin to it all. If the live action movie had been HALF as good I would have actually liked it.

I haven't seen Renegades but Resolute was just more of what I wanted to see out of a new cartoon series. I knew something as violent as it was never would have become a weekly kids show but I wish they had continued Resolute somehow.
