Shallow is the opposite of deep. A layer of dew or a puddle is shallow whereas an ocean is deep. "Barely shallow", which really doesn't make much sense, implies that the subject is almost deep enough to not be shallow. A layer of dew is extremely thin, thus making it extremely shallow. I was hoping you finally coming out would lighten you up, you were always stuffy in the X3 Off Topic threads, but that didn't seem to happen.

And before anyone says anything or I get private messages, I'm not looking to start a fight/argument, I'm just sick of being judged as shallow by TOB in this thread whenever the subject of sex or lust is brought up.

This is hilarious! Judging the person who you feels is so judgmental of you isn't hypocritical at all! I never said that anyone's shallow, so try to find some other garbage to strike up some oh-so-deep drama. If you're allowed to dislike something, so am I. But I would appreciate that, should something not align just perfectly with your flawless opinions in the future, you not take whatever it is and try to mold it into some ridiculous argument. You say you're not trying to ignite a fire, but there's numerous attempts in one post. Unfortunately, I don't bite that easily, as you should know from my stuffy days in the X3 Off-Topic thread. Speaking of which, to that bit about hoping I'd loosen up when I "came out" - my sexuality has never been an issue for me. It neither dictates who I am or how I act, which I understand is sometimes, well, hard to understand for some others. But I assure you I have plenty of real problems.

Who said that? No one slapped anyone on the hand for anything. You're allowed to say or do as you like as long as you're not breaking the rules. Now, because Schloss and I had an exchange about the depth of the topic, doesn't mean you have to stop discussing it. But it's, again, hypocritical to suggest that we're stifling you and then to suggest that we, Schloss and I, are wrong for voicing our opinions.

Seems like you're calling the thread shallow to me; especially when your other two postings in here say you feel like you're going to get a "number of viruses" or that you get a feeling of desperate hobos in a back alley. Doesn't sound too positive to anyone in the thread at all.

What ridiculous argument. I simply stated that your attitude is overly negative to me in this thread, and that you come across as stuffy and judgmental. It's getting tiresome, but it's not like you posted anything where I felt the need to report a post or anything.

The difference between Schloss and you, is that he's actually taking part in discussion in the thread; you're just down-talking the topics and the way the topics were being discussed, that's why I have an issue.

No, I take part in the discussion when I force myself to come in here. And, yes, age lines and butt shapes do tend to be rather low on my "deep **** to discuss" list. But it's the topic, not the people discussing it, which I accused of being shallow.

...for the record, I should've added some kind of laughing smiley to my comment. I wasn't being entirely serious when I questioned what this thread had turned into.
