G8: Still Just As Action-Packed!

If Bamf was my macaroni and I was cooking him in a pan over the stove, I would totally put some extra cheese sauce into his mix. Just sayin'.

He has image issues. :whatever:

Usually, the best-looking ones do.

I love smexy guy's who don't know they're smexy :) Marx is the same way... very very smexy :D

Like I said before (don't remember which thread, but I said it somewhere around here), I've come to consider some people "friends" that I never thought I would, and Bamf is one.

and haha. i totally read the whole macaroni/cheese thing as something far far far more dirty...

I would put him into metal baking pan and stick him into an oven heated to 400-degrees fahrenheit in order to carmelize his top layer and create a crisp melted crust that's a little burnt around the edges.

If you know what I mean. ;)

So...Jason has apparently decided to join one of our police precincts here. He claims he misses being on the beat and the honor of the uniform. He's been studying for EMS the last several months so I am a bit surprised he's putting that goal on the back-burner. He says he'll still pursue it, but basically he's bored. LOL

To be totally honest, I rather liked the idea of him not being in harm's way all the time. Not that EMS is 100% safe (often they are at the same crime and accident scenes that involve cops and firefighters) but he wouldn't need to pack a gun all the time.

The idea of him getting shot and not coming home one day took some getting used to--and I never got comfortable with the idea. Since we've moved here, he's been on sabbatical and I've loved having him around. Our relationship has become so much more intimate and strong. Being able to meet him for lunch 2-3 times a week and having dinner together every night has been fantastic for our marriage. And he's managed to restrict his exhibitionist need to "show off" (as he was in that club) to our personal quarters. So all has been good....

But it sounds like he will be doing the nightly patrols again which truly sucked. Before, when he'd be coming home in the morning I'd just be leaving for work. We didn't get to see eachother sometimes until the weekends. :down

He's not doing it for money (we are fine on my income), but more for the honor of helping others. While his incredibly selfless attitude is what brought us together in the first place (in that terrorizing public restroom incident years ago) is it wrong that I've become so selfish and don't want to share him with a dangerous occupation anymore? *sigh*

He asked me if I was okay with the idea of him returning to the force and I said I was...but I'm really not. :csad:

Yea, I wouldn't like the idea of that either.

:(

I really want to talk him out of this Schloss. We don't need the money. And I think that is part of his reasons for doing this: partly to sacrifice as a public servant (which is the bane of his existence) but also to feel like he's contributing to our household. He's said little things here and there that makes me think he feels he's just free-loading by me working and him just going to school. Yet, I don't look at it that way at all.

He asked me if I was okay with the idea of him returning to the force and I said I was...but I'm really not. :csad:
Yeah you should tell him that....You obviously know it's his dream but the concern of him getting hurt (or worse) on the job is very real too. There are other ways to contribute as a public servant without having to put his life on the line.

Um...since I otherwise don't belong here, I'll also add that I saw The Book of Mormon last night and there were some :atp: good-looking gay dudes in the theater. :funny:

Agreed. Jason has managed to come away from the force with everything still "intact" and I want him to stay that way. Especially considering how turbulent times are right now. There are other ways indeed...

Well...Mitt Romney is actually quite good-looking himself. But that's on the outside. :whatever:

You are more than welcome here anytime. You can use my guest pass, but you need to bring us a tray of brownies on the fifth day of every month.

Yeah, but Flowers is an actual human being, Romney is an alien sent to our planet to gain power and kill us all. Or the Anti-Christ, maybe we should check his birth certificate to see if his real name is Damien Romney.

no one said mormon's can't be hot.. they just can't actually be sane. :-P

You're not wrong for feeling the way you are. It's a very dangerous profession.

Well...Mitt Romney is actually quite good-looking himself. But that's on the outside. :whatever:

I don't find Mitt Romney attractive in the least. Any good physical attributes he may have are "voided" by his smarmy, snake-oil salesman persona.

I'm going to merge your double posting ridiculousness and then delete this post, therefor voiding said bump. It's not hard to bump thid thread with a relevant post... I mean, it's just the gay-themed lounge. Topics aren't too hard to come by. :cmad:

No. No pun intended. Perverts. :barf:

I love the irony of gay men calling other gay men perverts for expressing sexual interest in men.
