I think that if they should model her after anyone IRL, it should be Connelly. I think that's the ideal WW face, IMHO.

But Gal's as good as we have now, visually speaking, even more so than Regan.

Bruce Wayne's traits are not his blue eyes, at least not as Superman.

Bruce Wayne actually does possess such physical traits in the comics -- he's, more times than not, depicted with blue eyes. In light of that, unless Affleck is required to wear contacts, I don't see a real need for Gal to do the same.

I also don't care what someone's eye color represents or conveys on a metaphysical level.

No, they don't. Meg Foster has incredibly pale blue eyes. Her eyes are so otherworldly that she was often typecast as a blind woman or supernatural entity.

IMO I think there's more possibilities of Gal having blue than Affleck.
There's two options; CGI or contact I'm open with both but the thing is that I want them to look natural.

If Snyder has the time and luxury of adding the eye color in post production, for me, fine. If he doesn't, I'm good too. For WW, it's going to be Gal's perfomance, screen presence and how well costuming does that will sell me on her. Her ingerviews lets me think she has a good Diana in her, but I could be wrong.

Well clearly Routh's eyes in Superman Returns and Jessica Alba's in The Fantastic Four don't look quite natural. I didn't notice the midway dilated pupil thing though. I can never put my finger on why certain things look unnatural to me in films I just know it when I see it most of the time.

I'm not dying to have a blue eyed Wonder Woman. If they want to do it, awesome, if not equally awesome. It's all good to me because it's not a big deal.

Yeah, I can't speak for other people but the part that signals the unnatural part for me is the pupil staying at a constant level of dilation, and it's usually a bit too much. Kinda gives them "dead" looking eyes, because no matter where they look or what the level of light is their eyes don't adjust.

I think it'd only be an issue for somebody that knows the actor/actress's natural eye color and are looking out for it though. Gadot does look more intimidating with the blue eyes, could be cool.

The thing is that Gal has such beautiful eyes already that have a lot of warmth in them. Putting blue contacts over those will cover over that and might detract from that "magical" quality that Snyder saw in her.

This is the first blue eyes color when she looks gorgeous but in a realistic way talking about her eyes.
