BvS Gal Gadot IS Wonder Woman! - Part 10

I think part of it is that we know what her natural eye color is.

And another aspect is that it's hard to make natural looking eyes, without making the blue so dull or dark that it's basically nonexistent ;)

So yes, I have been satisfied with very few manips.

I'm Wonder Woman and I'm gonna steal your soul.

The key is to make it natural, but UNLIKELY looking. It should never look "normal."

This model comes to mind. Image in tags :)

But if they don't give her blue contacts (which I am fine with) I hope that they create some comic editions with brown eyes to "sell" the idea of Gal as WW.

Not bad I like the blue eyes there. Hopefully they can make it work.

I think she posted those ones of Cavill in The Tudors doing a girl from behind with his bare butt exposed.
Hehe! That scene and gifs of it are the best. I thought she posted a gif from another scene where he was going pound town on a different chick but in missionary position.

There might have been some Bomer in there too, lol. I don't remember exactly. It happened in the Cavill appreciation thread one fateful day. I know there were a couple gifs of Cavill getting it on with chicks medieval style for the Tudors.

And I'm ok with characters fighting, as long as they have a good reason and they don't use one character to make another look cool. That's a pet peeve of mine.

I can't disagree too much cuz I think we're on the same page mostly. I don't want to see Cav-el being whipped around just to establish WonderGal's bona fides. But... That's in there a bit, can't deny that either. But I just think it would be a great scene. Thor fan's complained about the forest sequence between Thor and Iron Man, but to my eyes it was clear that Tony was going to be badly beat it that went on much more. I think of the fight that WW and Superman had in the FOR TOMORROW story, or the way they showed that WW was not going to win in her fight with Mongul in WHAT DO YOU GET FOR THE MAN THAT HAS EVERTHING? story. She can hold her own, and her access and use of magical weapons makes her a threat to Superman even if she is not quite as strong, fast or invulnerable. Just showing she could hang with the dude whose fight with Zod incurred incredible collateral damage even though it was only minutes long would show she is a force to be reckoned with. But I also don't want it to be one sided, with WW just throwing Supes around, like in that JL episode. Like I stated, I think it's more like, Superman can't believe that this woman keeps getting up and coming at him and that she's seems able to hurt or restrain him with her weaponry.

Save Supes vs WW for a Justice League film.

I always liked the idea of starting a Tower of Babel style JL film with a Starro invasion in-medias-res, where some of the JL are compromised, giving us some epic fights between League members (and because of this, Batman creates the fail-safes.)

I see your point, but I guess I don't think it's necessary and still seems to function only to show that WW is badass. It uses supes as a vehicle for that. But who knows, if they have a good reason to fight, it might not annoy me.

Am I the only one who think that blue eyes on Gal takes away from her beauty? Blue eyes just doesn't fit her. Her natural deep brown eyes are gorgeous.

No, I sort of agree. I don't think the blue looks bad, but brown looks better to me.

Me too. I mean don't get me wrong, I love WW for her blues but I think Gal's Diana should be all natural.

I'd prefer that she dye her hair black, but, as far as the eyes go, we're in agreement.

I love Gal's beautiful brown eyes. They are expressive and soulful and kind hearted. It's often said that the eyes are the windows to the soul. Covering over hers with blue contacts takes away that spark of life and replaces it with a colder countenance and makes her more of a soulless beauty.

Man, what Wonder Woman did to Superman in that film was one of the highlights of the character existence! Such an amazing (on sided) fight!

Has Gal dyed her hair yet?

Oh god, the fan venom that would be spit if she doesn't would be 10X worse than over Amy Adams' red hair...

Also her natural eye color is perfect. It's fine.

There's not much point in Gal dyeing her hair right now unless she is about to shoot her scenes or do a publicity shot (in which case she might wear a wig). If she's not due to film anything for a while, the dye might've come out by then and her brown roots would show.

So Gal's hair color is an issue, but her eye color isn't? That doesn't make much sense to me - seems like a double standard IMO. I mean, if we're gonna let WW have brown eyes, then why not brown hair?

^ I agree Batfan. I'd be fine if she kept both her brown hair and eyes. I wouldn't be against her hair being dyed black though.

with you on that one B-Fan... why should one way more than the other?

to Smallville - I just can't get into that one... the low cut briefs with danglies are killing it for me bigtime.

I may have posted this before, some mysterious event just happened here. But anyway, Gadot is going to start filming in may?

Straight black can look really fake, but she does need darker hair. A darker brown would be just fine.

I do see where you're coming from, but I respectfully disagree that it's a double standard. While I personally think it would be ideal that she has black hair and blue eyes, I do feel the black hair is more important- for one, it is a much more prominent and distinguishable feature to WW's appearance.

And I don't understand some people saying "blue eyes don't look natural on her". The only reason some of you think it looks "unnatural" is because you've seen her with brown eyes and you're preconceived to think she has brown eyes, hence another color would look "unnatural". She's Caucasian, where blue eyes are common. It's not like manip-ing an Asian with blue eyes.
