I'm always hungry anyway.

Nothing wrong with the later.
She would have to absolutely knock it out of the park. The problem being is that I don't think the character is going to be a big part of the movie.
Diane Lane was great in MOS, I'm glad that she's coming back.
Hemsworth has improved a lot since the first Thor. He was not a great actor by any stretch of the imagination during that first Thor. He was fine but he had charm, size, and he was funny. He looked like the character coming to life and the movie was fun for a lot of people. This is what sold people on Hemsworth. He's improved quite a bit since. But he was by no means fantastic. It's like you guys can't fathom the idea that Gadot might just be a good actor who hasn't gotten a chance to fully display it lol. I remember when some Australian poster came on here and apologized on the behalf of all aussies when Chris Hemsworth was cast as Thor based only on what he had shown in Home & Away.
It's hilarious to me to read some of these posts.
I hope not. This movie shouldn't be about WW. They still need to develop the relationship between Lois and Superman more. I hope it's only a cameo. The villains need screen time too.
I wonder how long it'll be before we get a decent synopsis for the mash-up sequel.
I still don't think Evans is all that great as Cap. He's easily the most replaceable lead actor in the Marvel CU.
Great post. The reasons why having a hot actress in the role is not enough to be positive is because...
1. I've seen many attractive women before, don't need to pay money to look at one, especially considering that she will be wearing clothes.
2. Wonder Woman is not Ultraviolet. She is not Bloodrayne. Wonder Woman is not meant to be just eye candy for losers to drool over in a theater. There's a phrase for it in feminist circles (that I can't spell out due to it being censored): The Fighting *cough* Doll. It's this concept that movie studios PRETEND to have a strong woman, but really it's just slow-mo sots of cleavage and action that mostly involves contorting in ways to turn men on. Wonder Woman deserves to be above that, and no "she was treated like that in the comics for years" is not a valid reason to treat her like that on film in 2013.
Okay... so why can't we all just give Gadot the benefit of the doubt and assume that she's capable of going down a similar path to Hemsworth? She's eerily similar to him pre-Thor.Hemsworth has improved a lot since the first Thor. He was not a great actor by any stretch of the imagination during that first Thor. Sadly, I agree.I still don't think Evans is all that great as Cap. He's easily the most replaceable lead actor in the Marvel CU.

Well, at least she can't be worse than Megan Fox and Gina Carano, two actresses that I've seen others wanting to get the role, especially the latter.
Gina Carano is not winning any Oscars quite yet...but she could likely beat the crap out of Cavill and Affleck at the same time. From what I hear, her acting is improving, she does have the proper look, and she can be believable in fight scenes.
Gadot, as far as I can tell, would be fairly high on the list of women I'd want to see in a celebrity sex tape. Not sure how that translates to Wonder Woman though.
