As normal as it gets for a former Israeli Army member that is a model and actress that is playing the most famous female comic book character of all time.

Who is that? Gal's stunt double?

the shooting there will start from April 13th. til 19th.

maybe we'll see some spy pics soon.

Right now they are in Ravello filming at Villa Cimbrone and from 13 to 19th they will be filming in Matera.

I can't wait to see Gal walking about in these locations. Hopefully she'll be in a classic white Greek dress or toga, and strappy sandals.

See, that's the kind of white dress I'd like Gal to have in the movie.

I understand where you're coming from, but these Amazons don't really appear that much Grecian in their style. Armor they wear, while retaining some basic Grecian elements, like bronze body contouring armor and leather pteruges (skirt), have their own thing going on in overall design. It's pretty original, especially with the way leather bodice and metallic upper chest armor combine, sometimes even creating the aesthetic that seems like a nod to the Amazons being one-breasted myth.

Even the pteruges look pretty unique, with truly feathered shape (pteruges means "feathers", by the way) and them being very long. I actually don't like how long the skirts are, as it would be very impractical and would get in the way, but I think it has to do with the whole bird-like motif they have going on - Diana and Hipppolyta wear eagle crests, Antiope has an eagle crest on her shield and a studded leather skirt in shape of bird's tale and Menalippe and common soldiers have long, feather-shaped pteruges that also create a shape of a bird's tale to extent.

Basically, they look to me like a middle ground between pre-New 52 heavily Grecian look and more crude and primitive New 52 one.

Also, those depictions of white, silk dresses are more on a fantastic side than historically accurate one. And Greeks didn't wear togas, Romans did. What you're referring to is a chiton (long tunic) and peplos (square outer garment) or himation (diagonally worn cloak) that were worn over it. Also, while clothes in ancient Greece were mostly uncolored and plain white, it's not as snow white as modern depictions would have you believe and materials such is silk or cotton were not that common as they were way too expensive.

My point being, while they may give them similar tunics and cloaks as casual outfits, I'd expect a less stylish and elegant design, but more basic and simple one.

Thank you for posting that picture here. There is one in the general thread but one should be in here as well.

They said that WW is an origin story so her playing young Diana makes sense.

My pleasure :)

BTW I can buy her as young Diana, she has similarities to Gal.

I think Teilor Grubbs from Hawaii Five-0 looks more like a young Gal Gadot than that girl.

But maybe she's too old for what they're wanting now.
