World Gambit

You have a good eye. I had to go look it up on my boxes to find it.

the waywolverine and gambit look and their uniforms are old

Yeah, That's Gambit's old uniform. That's how I knew it wasn't anything new when Quing posted the first picture. I just feel silly that I had no memory of having DC vrs. Marvel. I clicked on her picture and the name came up and then I was like..durr!

Yup! :D My life is traveling from one blonde moment to the next. Of course I have over 2000 comics so I hope I can be excused just a little. :p

Nope, I'm a brunette. I'm just blonde on the inside. :p

YAh i'm a skinny guy that works at a comic book store on the inside on the outside I am that short fat guy thats knows alot about comics.

ehhehehehe

What's going on with Gambit's hair? Looks like a wig sticking out. [Ions is amused]
Foxx turned out to be Mystique?

I'd like to see Remy hook up with someone a little more stable. I was really hopingfor Foxx and was bummed she turned out to be a fake.

Foxx wasn't stable, she was psycho. Even before they revealed that it was Mystique. If he'd have gotten with Foxx and left Rogue, it would have been a huge boo for him, even if he shouldn't be with Rogue anymore.

Maybe. It was at least exciting to watch.

OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH,rogue is peed at him.lol.And they should still be together-marvel just need new writor, the on they have now does't even understand their history and sure as hell shouldn't be writing about it.Maybe they can take a break for a few months but no longer.

I suppose the two of them will be bickering their way into old age. I'd rather see him with someone else, Rogue seems shifty to me, but then he cheats so maybe they just deserve each other! :p

It's just poor writing that leaves their relationship so uninteresting. Gambit is suffering also, no writer is prepared to develop his character further. New Son in his solo series was one, but Marvel never wanted to tie that into main continuity.
But because he's popular he has to be in one of the main X-men books. So we are stuck with day time soap quality relationship 'events'. They'll probably break up and get back together a few dozen times over the next decade.

Maybe the writers thingk it's all been done with Gambit. You had teh whole Rogue?Gambit angst, then you had the Gambit/Masscre angst, then the Gambit/I've been dumped in Antarctica angst. Maybe they think there's nothing left to explore. I don't think so but I don't write the books (I have my fanfiction for that ! :D). Things got a little interesting when they blinded him for a few issues but then they never explored that either. All they want to do now is blab about Emma and I could care less.

All right I got no idea whether anyone mentioned this yet or not, cuz frankly i aint readin all 8 pages, lol. But as far as I see it there are two actors whom would be perfect for the role of gambit, the only problem is affording them. The first would be Brad Pit, given he would be in a slightly older age group he can PLAY much younger than he is. He would be sensational with the voice and manerisms as we have see in his many other role requireing that same "southern kindness". The next person would have to be Collin Ferral, with the right hair the look is dead on, and lets face it 90% of gambits popularity stims from hair. He is an amazing actor as well and with the right training on the accent he could be the quentasential Gambit for our era. I realize that some people would possibly have a problem with men in that age range coming on to or hitting on Anna Paquin's Rouge, but what you must remember is that just because you or me or even rouge would care about that sort of thing, that doesnt mean Gambit would. In fact he probobly do it just to watch Iceman squirm. Danger room scences with that cast would be fun. But as I said earlier, in the end it all boils down to money, and the fact is they probobly just plain couldnt afford them.

Jean: You'd do anything to impress a seventeen year old in a tight sweater wouldnt you?
Logan: Actualy, I've kinda got my eye on a telepathic nineteen year old, but I'm worried she's gonna waste her life wating on a loser who brushes his teethsix times a day.
Jean: Dont give up hope, Wolverine. You never know your luck.

Welcome to the Hype, Olcanucklehead! (That's a mouthful!)

Actually Colin Ferrel was mentioned in the beginning the of this thread so you're not the only one with him in mind. It is true he would be too expensive. In my opinion tho, I think he would be too mean. Colin tends to play tuff guys (and quite well, I might add) but the Cajun is more like a acrobatic clown. I'm not sure Colin could pull it off.

You might be the first to mention Brad Pitt. He is in phenominal shape *squeekness puts on her bib* but where Colin is a tuff guy, to me, Brad is kind of a wacky scary guy.

Gambit when properly written is more like a clown, always flirting and screwing around, quick with one liners. My guess is that if and when they ever cast Gambit for an X-men movie, they'll get someone new who can hopefully do a good job. So far, pretty much every one else has.

they guy from Lost could pull off a good a gambit, he got the look,
