well...all i know him is from his part in lost..and he has that mysterious type of personailty, like a person u cant trust, or something of that sort, sorta like gambit..his personality also in the show is someone who wants to get his work done, one way or another

Then maybe he would be good. Fox certainly wouldn't have to pay him big bucks, that's for sure. I see Gambit's role being filled by someone we don't know that well, like Hugh Jackman did. It might work out for the better. It wouldn't be an easy role, not with all the expectation behind it. He could flamed so easily.

His name is Josh Holloway, and he's been mentioned quite a few times. And he's hot. But we all already knew that. Ian Somerhalder, who played Boone on Lost (in season 1) would also make a pretty good Gambit. IMO, he's built more for the part than Holloway.

I posted this in another thread, thought I would put it here, too. This is from Gambit's first regular series, issue #16 on the last page.

Since we're back on casting, another name that someone suggested to me was Sean Maher, from Firefly and Serenity. If he can pull off the accent, he'd be good, IMO. I think that it's important for whoever plays Gambit to have a great smile. That's the one selling factor for me. And he does.

I just did these quickly, so they suck. But you get the idea.

He looks decent enough to me. Only he wasn't all that fun and charming in Serenity, not the way Gambit can be. He would need to lighten up.

I <3 Kaylee. She had the best intro of ANY of the characters on the TV show. Including River, who came out of a box.
