I can see why. I honestly don't know how to feel about it. Last year's I felt was definitely going to be awesome. This year, I feel like it could go either way.

The fact that Jon is in the hall of Winterfell when he first appears with a cheer of "The king in the North" is funny to me, because it made me think they've just been sitting there since last season, chanting tkitn over and over again.

Kind of still wanna know why he'd be along, suspecting they will just handwave in service to the concept of the Justice League of Westeros. But why risk the life of the last Baratheon blood?

There seems to be 12 of them. So it is Jon, Tormund, Sandor, Beric, Thoros, Gendry, Jorah, and who else? Randoms? Brienne, who is the only character aside from Jon to have a Valyrian steel sword?

I am a bit late to the party but i really enjoyed that trailer. It was pretty cool and a good warm up for the upcoming season.
Liked the massive map, crazy Cersei, the different armies and types of combat, the beast Drogon... Mostly positives. The only thing that felt a bit underwhelming was the Mountain's new armour and the lack of White Walkers.

Game of Thrones‘ eighth and final season may not air until 2019, HBO programming president Casey Bloys says in a recent interview

The fantasy series’ showrunners David Benioff and D.B. Weiss have yet to write episodes or determine production schedules for Thrones‘ swan song, but the HBO exec won’t rule out episodes of the final run airing in 2019, telling the site that he’d have “a better sense of that once they get further into the writing.”

Yeah that would be some BS. Two years to produce 6 episodes. Wtf! If they wanted to take that much damn time they could have done a 10 episode season 8. Cause the whole point of cutting the season 7 & 8 episode count to 7 and 6 was they didnt have enough time to finish 10 large scale episodes in a single year.
