So the silver lining to Season 7 being delayed until next summer is that the Season 6 Blu-ray will be released on November 15, making this the first time any GOT season has been released on Blu-ray and DVD before the holidays.

And I hate partial slipcpvers! Ten Cloverfield Lane had a partial slip and it was ****! And they are stacking discs now.

Also, that is a picture of the DVD packaging. The Blu-ray will have 4 discs.

Over 25 million watched each S6 episode of Game of Thrones

GAME OF THRONES highly anticipated sixth season conquered all previous seasons with episodes averaging 25.1 million viewers to-date (linear Plays + DVR + HBO On Demand + HBO GO/HBO NOW). That’s approximately five million viewers more when compared to last year’s average (20.2 million). Viewing on HBO’s Digital Platforms comprise almost 40% of season six total viewing, with HBO GO and HBO NOW up a combined 91% vs. last season. Overall, GAME OF THRONES continued its reign as the most watched HBO series on record.

If even half of those people watched Black Sails then Starz wouldn't have ****ed us around

They must be upset they've only got 13 more paydays left.

It's a shame that good shows like Black Sails and Penny Dreadful weren't more popular.

they didn't market either of those shows ... like... at all. so they are lucky they both got more than one season.

Starz and Showtime marketed those two shows on their channels with multiple trailers and tv spots and online with ads. And I've seen Penny Dreadful and Black Sails trailers prior to the start of a film at my local Carmike.

meh... sails didn't have **** for marketing... but they only planned a few seasons given starz style...

penny dreadful had dreadful marketing .............. dreadful... if Dexter can last 8 seasons, dreadful should have made at least 5... but no one really gave a **** or knew about it.

I re-watched S01 to S05. In the episode where Stannis tells Shoren the story about the merchant that gave her a doll from which she got infected by the "scale disease" something is not very clear to me, did the merchant was hired to kill her ?

That was never made clear. I assume not - or, at least no one could prove it - since Stannis ought to have mentioned it had that been the case.

It's not explained in the books... but in the show, I took it as a Targ loyalist tried to have her and Stannis killed for taking Dragonstone.

Yeah, I read it as someone upset with Robert's Rebellion looking for revenge.

10 seasons would have stretched it, I think. It already feels like they're drawing things to a close. I don't really want it to drag on to the point that it's going stale, especially after people like Cersei are dead and whoever claims the throne, takes it.

Yep. Season six felt like we were on the fast track to the endgame.

I was re watching The Thing prequel and realized Tormund actor was in it.
Edit : with the same heavy beard.

Congrats GoT cast and crew. Season 6 was awesome. I thought Mr.Robot was going to take it though.

I don't respect your opinion.......... Jk
Only kinda though lol but I'm glad GoT took it. Well deserved.

the Slater twist ruined it for me.

They deserve it, if for no other reason than for finally confirming R+L=J, am I right, ladies? :o

Saw this and thought I might share it since news is sparse. The Last Harpy has made a couple of character videos in addition to his great theory videos on his channel. He does a daily video and I find it helps pass the time waiting on the next season.
