There's a rumor that the premiere is going to be 80 minutes long. And most of the episodes are extended by 15 minutes. I suspected there might be longer episodes because there are shooting the same amount of content in less episodes.

It's important to remember, D&D have never broken this series up by episode, they always go by how many hours the show has left. They've said there's probably going to be about 70-75 hours of the show in total, so I doubt they're limiting the show's episode count just to extend the runtimes.

I agree, but I think a few of the episodes will be extended. And since they have shorter seasons, they better make up for all 60 minutes. None of this 53 minute crap we occasionally get.

Dragons going to apparently be the size of 747s in new season of Game of Thrones

Talking to EW, director Matt Shakman told them:

"The dragons this year are the size of 747s (196' wingspan)...Drogon is the biggest of the bunch — his flame is 30-feet in diameter!"

I thought Drogon was 747 size last season. I wonder if he'll be the size of an Airbus 380 (261' wingspan) in season 8... **** it make him the size of the Hughes Hercules for the final season (320' wingspan).
